Wow I didn’t know about him doing it in that movie too... That really is a pattern.

He writes about misogynistic violence, directs and then actively executes that violence. Like a twisted, disgusting fantasy. Yet he’s lauded as one of the best directors of all time... we really do not punish men that hurt women.

We turn their suffering into entertainment instead.

I don’t - and thus the use of femme as opposed to girl or woman. At least in the generation I come from,  femme is a broader umbrella than woman. A definition of presentation rather than an assumption of gender of either the actor or the character.

hi i’ve suspected for a while that it isn’t a racial slur outside of australia? it seems to be a common way to shorten the word raccoon, which of course we don’t have hear. americans don’t seem to react the same way to it at all?

Oh, it’s majorly a racial slur here in the US. Also, the cartoonist is from the American South.
