Howling Problems
It was supposed to be an enjoyable night for Aleyanna in theory. Even though she wouldn’t be able to enjoy the alcoholic beverages from the Howling Bard Brewery, she could just as easily socialize with her gathered friends. And that would be a rewarding experience in of itself.
Of course, fate worked differently in that a loud mouthed Asura named Clockk was there, who was boisterous and couldn’t shut up or be calm. Not only that, but he seemed to demean a girl by referring to her as wallflower. It even got to the point where Renita asked Aleyanna if she could curse his mouth shut, as if to mute him. This was agreed upon, and it was there that the situation deteriorated further when the curse magic apparently tied his mouth shut literally, causing the Asura to black out.
With Renita in tears, Aleyanna tried to reassure her friend that it wasn’t her fault, but it was for naught as Renita just took Amelia and headed on home. With a sigh, the operative made her way back to her office at the war room to finish up some paperwork. When that was done, it was time to return home and hope everything was somewhat alright, but at the courtyard, she noticed her cousin Tracy, staggering about, and inebriated.
“Ach, *hic*. I dinnae *hic* know what’s *hic* in this, but *hic* tis good beer, aye?” Tracy slurred, huge grin on her face.
“Tracy, you’re beyond drunk. What were you planning on doing?” Aleyanna asked.
“Ach, was *hic* ‘bout ta *hic* fly back *hic* ta th’ Keep,” the crusader replied, falling down.
“Not tonight you’re not. Here, we’ll get the guest room on our wing set up for you,” Aleyanna remarked as she kicked Tracy in the leg, letting the Crusader slowly rise.
“Fookin *hic*, gonna be *hic* bitched at by m’ *hic* saperiahs,” Tracy muttered.
“Let me handle that,” Aleyanna replied as she guided Tracy into the home and up the stairs to the Denton side of the house. “There’s no need for you to inadvertently stagger off on the airship and fall to your death.”
“Ach, I’ll *hic* be *hic* fine,” Tracy muttered as she was guided to the guest room and laid down in a position that would do her no harm.
“Yeah, I know. I’m just looking out for family,” Aleyanna commented as she thought about what she would have to be doing not just tonight but tomorrow and the next couple of days as well. “Seems I’m always looking out for family and friends, whether I want to or not.”
“Aye, *hic* ye ‘ave *hic* th’ heart o’ *hic* gold,” Tracy slurred as she dozed off to get some sleep.
“I suppose you’re right,” Aleyanna replied as she forced herself a smile and headed out to notify Dawn of their new guest for the evening. “I suppose you’re right.”
