I am super happy to finally show one of my more ambitious endeavors. ‘The Clockwork City’ is my first moving Shadowbox Artwork that also doubles as a time piece. I’m so happy with how it came out. It debuted at Matsuricon and Dragoncon. I worked with a commissioner and various other feedback I received, and decided for it to be a working time piece as well as the moving parts!

Sotha Sil, in his workshop overlooking his city. I liked the idea that he might occasionally like to sit and repair the occasional poor wee skeevaton that might’ve lost an ear or tail in his spare time - do living gods even have spare time as such? Hmm…

(This was drawn sometime around the clockwork city event. I actually started two more portraits of Sotha Sil before this, before starting this more as a doodle than anything, but I liked it more than either of the portraits, even if it’s more than a bit rough around the edges hehe.)
