Chapter Eight
Rodney, Radek, Teal’c and young Jack made their way up to the Jumper bay. Daniel wanted to come with them but Jack told him something to the effect of “over my dead body” and pulled him along behind the medics. Rodney smiled to himself, reading between the lines with them. So that’s what Jack meant by “they’re on the same team” or rather who Jack meant it about.
He knew they’d need to get back soon. He wanted to be there when Carson woke up and was worried sick about Evan. He was glad Carolyn was in charge. She seemed well equipped to handle her dad.
Rodney stopped suddenly, remembering they were deep under the ocean.
“What is it?” Radek asked in worry.
“The bay doors might open but…we’re under water. It’ll flood the jumper bay if we open them, right?”
Rodney was starting to panic. How would they get the data he needed on the Lantean Sun if they couldn’t even get out of the jumper bay?
