jumping straight into the bad batch after watching the clone wars and then rebels back to back is such a shift in quality. im only a third in to the first episode and everything is so visually stunning compared to tcw and rebels, it's such a treat!!! the lighting, the textures.... yum yum yum

it's so nice to see how they refined the clone wars style (which in the later seasons was already banging) and made this. im such a sucker for this style, it's so unique and identifiable and filled with personality (compared to rebels... I loved that show but the animation did not do it for me :/)

hot take- idk if im the only one who thought this but since i was a child watching clone wars i was convinced from THE FIRST TIME that i saw cad bane that his little droid (todo 360) was his gay (twink?) lover and nobody can convince me otherwise
