— Backstory
From his emergence from the tube, Theron was trained into being a clone combat medic with the 104th Battalion. He was known as ‘Doc’ until his visit to the planet Theron, where he discovered a love of pod racing - he liked the thrill and uncontrollability of it, and how it contrasted with his daily life on Kamino. From then on, he was nicknamed ‘Theron’, with his former name only being used occasionally or by those who only know him as a medic. On one ill-fated mission, Theron was severely wounded in an explosion whilst trying to evacuate civilians. As a result of the explosion, he became deaf in one ear and received a cochlear implant shortly after. He hit his head hard, and unbeknownst to him, Theron damaged his inhibitor chip to the point of its functionality being impaired. As a result of the damage sustained to his chip, Theron was able to reject carrying out Order 66, but was separated from the rest of his Battalion. He became a travelling medic for mercenaries on anti-Empire planets, still using the nickname ‘Theron’.
