(For the one sentence Fic starter) Kanan had to run, if the clones caught him they would drag him back to the temple never to leave again and forever be trapped by those he once considered friends, family even.

I know I may have written a bit much, but I just really liked the prompt to the point it actually helped me with the block I had for the past weeks, so have two scenarios, one with Kanan and another little Caleb.

He had managed to escape long ago thanks to his master, he couldn't let them catch him now, not after so long but as he jumped from place to place to get to the deeper levels of coruscant.

But he is no fool, as to think that he had any kind of actual distance from Styles, he had been the one who found, after all, he knew him better than anyone and after a decade of searching for him, he had more than enough knowledge to be able to predict him in certain moments.

"Hera, you need to leave NOW," He said to his com.

"But Kanan-"

"No they found me, you need to go NOW, I'll find a way to get back to you," He promised even if he knew that it would be near impossible as he broke his com and prepared to jump down again but he felt the shock of a stun gun hit his legs making him tumble to the ground.

"Damn kid, you've gotten faster," He heard Style's voice from behind him as he was turned to see him kneeling beside him.

"Styles-" He tried to say something but Styles stroked his hair gently.

"Don't worry kid, no one is mad at you, we're just glad your home now," Styles smiled before he shot another stun ray and Kanan fell into darkness.

Master Depa had told him to run, he had to run, she and so many other masters had done so much so that he and the others were able to escape, but now only he remained, he had to escape so that everyone's efforts weren't in vain.

But why did he have to escape from those he had once seen as a family, what had happened, not even a week ago he and his master had been fighting alongside each other protecting each other's backs, they had been family, but now, they were trying to trap him i n what had once been his home.

He wiped away the tears forming in his eyes as he ran, but as he took the next step he slipped and fell to the harsh ground of that lone alleyway as rain poured down and soaked him wet, he tried to stand up but he fell once more.

*C´mon I need to hurry, they are still after me,* He told himself but his body kept trembling as his vision became blurry from the tears falling from his eyes, he tried to breathe, tried to calm himself like master had taught him for situations like this, but he was so tired, so confused, he just wanted to cry and curl up in a ball or master's warm hugs that always helped him with his nightmares, he couldn't do this anymore so before he could even stop himself he began to cry loudly.

He cried and cried as the emotions kept coming out, more and more, he just wanted things to go back to normal, he barely noticed the sounds of quiet footsteps getting close to him as the clone kneeled beside him, all he could notice was his warmth in the force and all the love he had felt from them once, how could something so bright create such darkness was what they all wondered but he could only focus on the warmth he so much wanted and needed, he launched himself at him and hugged him as he kept crying, wishing for all this nightmare to end as he was gently lulled to sleep by exhaustion and the gentle hair stokes from Grey.

"Hey Grey, up for a training fight?" You asked hitting his shoulder. "Oh, you want to fight? I'm not going to go easy on you you know," he replied. "Grey can beat you in a second," Caleb Dume said, he was Grey's friend and the new padawan of Depa Billaba. "You think so, kid?" You said ruffling his hair making him upset as he tried to swat your hand away. "Don't let them tease you Caleb!" Styles tells him.  "Styles is right Caleb," you giggled. "How about you fight me instead of Grey!?" Caleb yelled getting in your face trying to pretend he wasn't scared of you. "No need kid, I'll take you up on that training fight, if I win you have to stop teasing Caleb, only we get to do that," Grey said.  “Hey!!” Caleb huffed.

"And if I win?" You asked. - Caleb's mind worked quickly to come up with an option that was equally bad for both you and Grey, to get back at your teasing, "I know, but you both have to promise you'll do it before I say what it is." Concerned with the child's evil grin you hesitated at first, until Grey accepted, not wanting to seem like the weak one you also accept, "You're on kid!" "So what is it?" Styles asked looking at Caleb who was trying not to laugh.  "You guys have to kiss." "Urgh Caleb you're such a child," you said rolling your eyes putting your head in your hand. "Y/N you promised!" Caleb taunted you.  "I hate you, but I keep my promises." "So you gonna lose on purpose now?" Grey joked knowing it would make you more annoyed.  "Well, how do I know you're not gonna just try and lose on purpose so you get a kiss uh?" You shot back, glaring at him with your arms crossed. "Grey is too prideful to lose," Soot joked. Both of you walked over to the training room, covering your hands with some bandages before starting, -- stepping into a ready position leaning your body to one side slightly. He stood straight up, fists at the ready in front of his chest, a smirk on his face, man you really just wanted to wipe that stupid smirk right off his face. He slid his foot forward, before quickly bringing his other side in front, throwing his fist out at you, - you're able to block it with your forearm, ducking down before swinging your fist out, trying to punch him in the gut. His other hand comes over grabbing your fist before hits him, now just pushing him back some. "That the best you got?" He taunted, kicking his foot to knocking your feet out from under you, instead you twist the arm that was holding back his to grab his arm, leveraging your weight as you jumped up kicking your legs forward, throwing him back. Catching yourself with your hands launching yourself back up onto your feet, "Come at me!" He gets back on his feet, the smirk returns as he charges back at you, throwing out more punches, you block each one carefully, missing his kick coming at you from the side, hitting you knocking the air out of your lunges as you got pushed to the side, keeping your balance as you coughed. A worried expression covers his face, concerned that he hurt you, "I'm fine," you said between coughs reading up to punch him again, this time you charged at him. 

Pretending to throw a punch at him, instead, tricking him, as he tries to kick you again you use his leg to step off getting yourself high enough to wrap your legs around his neck, twisting your body around with force to throw him to the ground. "Urgh!" He growled hitting the floor hard, your legs still wrapped around his neck, his hands moved up to try and free himself from your grip but to no avail.   "10....9....8....7....6....5....4 ---" "SHUT IT!" Grey called out making Styles stop counting for a second before Caleb called it, "Y/N wins! Grey, you were down for more than 10 seconds, you lose!" "Damn!" He scoffed as you freed him, getting up and rubbing his neck which was aching.  "Aww did I hurt you?" You teased, this time with a smirk on your face. "No!" He growled turning to walk away as you got to your feet. "Hey now, aren't you two forgetting something?" Soot said trying to hold back his laughter.  "Not exactly in the mood for that!" Grey said glaring at his brothers. "Told you he cared more about his pride." "Grey, both of you promised," Caleb said pushing his friend back over to you.  "Caleb, I'm going to kill you!" He said stopping the kid from pushing him further. To annoy him more you stepped forward, cupping his face in your hand leaning in as close as you can, just a hair length away from his lip, smirking at the sight of his flustered face, feeling the warmth radiate into your hand as your thumb trailed along his scar. The sound of his heartbeat pounding becomes more noticeable, the look in his changes as his expression turns soft, to your surprise he’s  leaning forward, capturing your lips in his. -- You run your hand around to the back of his head, tilting yours as you kissed him, a low moan escapes his throat before you pull back. An evil-looking smirk on Caleb's face as he looked at you two, "Finally, I knew you two liked each other." "What no that was just --" you both said at the same time making Caleb and the clones laugh, you and Grey however weren't amused.

"Just next time get your own room," Caleb joked before running off.

"Get back here you little!!!" Grey shouted running after him as the other clones laughed, slowly running out of breath.

Yandere clones looking for their running kids.

"Rex,"

"What?" He snapped at the com.

"We found the tracker, they managed to take them off,"

Rex growled.

"Fives, you better have good news," Rex demanded after switching his com channel.

"We have a lead where she might be,"

Came the quick answer, Rex could tell he was running.

"Where?"

"Old hangar RP-26,"

Rex was running before Fives could finish answering.

Rex was closer to the hangar so he arrived first.

"I'm going in," He informed trough the com channel.

When he walked in the hangar was drenched in darkness, it would have been impossible to see for him if it wasn't for the light pouring from the door.

He walked quietly looking for any sign of Five's lead being in the right.

When he saw a crate slightly out of place he knew she was here.

"Ahsoka?" He called out.

Nothing.

"Ahsoka, I know your here,"

Nothing.

"Where trying to help you, please come out," He really didn't want to hurt her, but she was becoming a danger to herself.

"Ahsoka!!" Fives yelled worriedly when he came in running.

Rex was able to see a shadow slightly move on his right, clearly startled by Fives.

"Ahsoka you have us all worried, please let us help you," Rex slightly pointed towards where he had seen the shadow move to Fives.

Fives slowly moved to surround the hidding place.

They both moved closer to the hiding place.

"Ahsoka we don't want to hurt you, we're trying to protect you," Fives said as Rex counted down to signal them to launch.

When they launched to the hidding place they found nothing but a cloak, a distraction.

Before they could react Rex fell to the ground after being stunned.

Before Fives could turn around he felt a blaster's barrel press against the back of his head.

"Don't move," Came a boy's agitated voice.

"Lower the blaster, I'm trying to help you," Fives lifted his hands to the air and slowly stood up.

"I said don't move!" The voice wavered, the boy was clearly scared, Fives didn't want to scare the little one.

"Ok, tell me what is it that you need," Fives has never been good being gentle with children, his good at playing with them but the talking is more of Echo's specialty.

"You are gonna give me his access card," The boy demanded.

Fives didn't need to be an expert to know that he was referring to Rex's access card, but what he was wondering now is what he would use it for, to access a ship or to try and get a Jedi out.

"How about we try to talk, your clearly scared,"

"Give it to me now!"

Fives slowly reached down but before he could reach it he heard the boy yelp before a stunning blast missed him by a few inches, when he turned around he saw the now asleep boy in Kix's arms as he kneeled down.

"Thanks Vod," Fives said while he stood up.

"What happened?" Kix asked while he put the hypospray back on his belt.

"The kid got the drop on Rex and me, he wanted Rex's access card, but I don't know what for," Fives explained.

"How many of them are we looking for?"

"If we leave this one out, four, the others have already be secured," Kix picked the sleeping boy up.

"This is Grey's boy," Fives said when he got a better look at him.

"We better com Grey before he helps others to tear down the place looking for him," Kix said while Fives started to pull Rex's limp body.

"On it,"

"This better be some good news,"

Came the gruff voice through the com.

"We found your boy," Fives quickly informed.

"Is Caleb alright?"

Came another younger Vod's voice.

"Stance!"

Grey scolded the Vod who had interrupted them.

"Yes, Kix had to hypospray him but he's alright, we are taking him to medbay SP-4, he was trying to get Rex's access card,"

"They are trying to access the ships,"

Grey voice stated.

"Who are still missing?" Kix asked.

"Tano, Kestis and Katooni,"

Another Vod answered, he sounded slightly younger but not as much as Stance's.

"Look in the vents, Katooni and Kestis are most likely using them to move around, Grey and Stance are going your way,"

Came the Vod's voice.

"Good, we need to find them before they hurt themselves," Fives said before he hanged up.

"Next time you pull Rex," Fives grunted as he kept up with Kix's pace.

"Let's hope there's not a next time," Kix didn't waver in his pace.
