Prompt: Mine Ship: Blackout/Spark Rated: G .
Blackout doesn’t like to brag. He’s lost a lot in this war already, and in comparison to some of the other Commanders in the Third System, he doesn’t have much to boast about anyway.
But there is one thing that he will always take pride in, one thing that he will always point out with a grin the size of a small planet and eyes bright.
Spark waves to him from where he’s working on one of the ships with a squad mate, and then promptly smacks himself in the face with a wrench.
“That one is yours?” Cody asks with a smirk, pretending is isn’t making eyes at Fives a few few away.
“Yeeeah, he’s mine,” Blackout says with an exasperated, affectionate sigh.
This meme just gave me Blackout and Spark vibes. Spark brings all the sunshine to Blackout’s squad, whether they want it or not

Helli Abbasa is about to find out…
(Fair warning: this chapter might not be as well-edited as usual, but I was determined to post it as close to Remembrance Day as I could.)

Blackout and Spark instantly becoming best friends 🖤🖤
Since your requests are now open I kindly ask for some pure, happy, supportive, and loving relationship Blackout/Spark interactions because I am but a simple fool.
(Sure thing! Need more of them)
Spark doesn’t know what the fact that this is his favorite part of any mission says about him, but he just loves when they end, that moment in which the adrenaline begins to subside, leaving space for a pleased numbness that’s half the satisfaction for a job well done, half the relief for the fact that everything went well, that everyone’s still alive.
Of course not every mission ends like this: sometimes it’s painful, extremely so, and all he can do is thinking about the lives they’ve lost, about the fact that he was almost one of them, and he asks himself if it would’ve been better if he were one of the victims. At least he’d finally get some rest, right?
Fortunately for him, this last mission went well and without hiccups, meaning that he gets to enjoy a well deserved time off without the feeling of dread looming on his shoulders.
Nope, what he feels right now is an intense lightheartedness. The fact that he’s also just taken a shower and is now resting on his bunk are also great factors contributing to his good mood, but they’re not the only ones: even though Spark’s keeping his eyes closed, he can discern by the kind of steps getting closer and closer to him that he’s not going to be alone for much longer.
As to confirm his thoughts, once he opens his eyes, he seems a certain someone leaning with his arms against the upper bunk, looking down on him with a fond expression.
“Hey,” he greets his visitor, lips already curling into a smile.
“Hey yourself,” commander Blackout replies. “Enjoying some time off?”
Spark nods. “You know I am.”
He doesn’t even wait for Blackout to say anything as he makes space for him on the mattress, allowing him to climb beside him. It’s a tight fit, but they make it work; besides, being this close together it’s just what they need after a hard day at work: it’s easier to put their minds at ease like this. Everything’s good. They’re all here. They’re all fine.
“Are you going to do anything tonight?”
It’s not usual to hear Blackout asking him that: ever since his first mission, he’s always made sure he went out and had fun, and that was even before they got together, so Spark isn’t surprised to hear him saying those words.
Normally, he’d say that he’s open to suggestions, if Blackout had something particular in mind - usually he does - but this time… this time it’s different.
“Think I’m gonna stay here…” he says, in fact. Now that the adrenaline’s starting to wear off, he feels tired, very tired; all he wants to do is to sleep, to be quite honest.
“If you have somewhere to be, don’t worry about it. I wouldn’t want to ruin your night…” he says then, raising his gaze to meet Blackout’s. He’d feel bad if he was stuck with him just because he’s tired, after all…
“No. I think I’ll stay here too,” Blackout says and there’s something… well, not exactly off about him, but he does look tired too, something that Spark doesn’t think he’s ever seen since he’s met him.
“Eh,” he says then, shrugging. “We could always spend the rest of the evening like this, don’t you think?”
There’s a moment of silent, perfect stillness, then Blackout turns on his side, getting as close as he can to Spark, who readily welcomes him in his arms.
Despite the fact that he can’t see his face, not when it’s hidden against his chest, he can still feel his smile as he says:
“I don’t see why not.”

Obi-Wan is an enigma. He turns up in jackets that clearly aren't his, so he is unobtainable, yet Cody can't stop himself from pining after the impossible.
Codywan Week Day 07: Domestic/Everday Life Pairing: Codywan Warning: None @codywanweek
Cody drummed his fingers on the countertop, the tacky residue from the lemon cleaning wipes causing them to slip slightly and disrupt his melody. The habit was a comforting one as the old battered orange radio that sat to one side crackled to life, the hiss of static shifting to the excited chatter of voices.
“—should be just about the time that our cousin Cody is opening up Gal’gala Coffee.” Blackout’s voice was soft, reminiscent of the jazz that overlayed his words. “This is your daily reminder that it has the best coffee and pastries this side of the river, and I’m not just saying that because I’m related to the owner.”
Cody snorted, shaking his head at Blackout’s quip — the same one he made every day, as regular as clockwork. He stepped out from behind the counter, moving to the front door. He closed the small hatch in the centre, which was used for early coffee pickups, and swung the door open.
“Today’s special is a blueberry coffee and, to go with it, a salted caramel tart. Now—“ Blackout clapped his hands, the sound crackling but failing to fully hide the startled yelp in the background. “Spark has decided to finally join me in the studio.”
Spark’s voice was muffled, his words almost lost in the underlying crackle that rolled from the radio speakers. “Sorry, everyone! I hit a pothole on the way in and rescued breakfast rather than my phone, so I had to look for it.”
Cody winced, moving to draw the glass tip jar further into a position of prominence on the counter amongst the neatly constructed paper bags of coffee beans and loose ingredient kits, each with its own patterned ribbon to hold them closed.
