CT-28-5505, also known as "Thunder", is a clone who suffered the defect of a lack in growth hormones, which led him to a slower growth progression compared to his brothers, causing him to appear younger than his peers. Because of this, he would meet doubt from both the Kaminoans and certain instructors; it didn't help that he struggled in keeping up with his brothers at first.
However, through each adversity he faced while growing up, he endured with all the strength of his determination and the will to prove his doubters wrong.

Finally got around to properly drawing Thunder's ARC armor, at first it felt quite challenging to adapt clone trooper armor with our style because it can be quite angular, especially when it comes to non-organic parts, but I think we've gotten to a fairly comfortable point in this adaptation.
I wanted to stay faithful to the original design I had for Thunder, but seeing it next to his stealth kit, I have to say the ARC armor's paint job feels quite messy to me, though I suppose this progression is a testament to Thunder's eventual growth.
Here's his design from 2023. He's a character I'm also very eager to write for, we're in the planning stages for "PETRICHOR" now, and we hope to bring you our very best!
⁕ Trivia — Thunder stands at 175cm, he's also thinner; because he has an overall smaller stature, it's easier for him to fit into vents.

Hello! Things have been getting busier and busier, the only times we can afford to be online is when we have to post anything at all, so we're not quite sure if we can spare the time for any interactions -- replies may be really late if we have to think about them for more than 5 seconds, so please keep in mind. As always, we do appreciate your support!
Here's a bit of visual aid for how I've personally been feeling:
Yeah. It's that bad.
For some context, its almost been a week since we've had to table at a local event that was honestly a bit of a disaster (we're fine, it just ended up being a bad return on our investment on the count that the event floor was near to empty. Day 2 was a little better, but not by much). On top of that, we have to prep for another event that we've applied for but haven't been accepted for yet, so, yay! More work!
Obviously, I'm trying to manage things so we can take it easy, but there's just a lot that we're putting in that we hope to be able to publish eventually. The disadvantages of being mentally plural but physically singular (actually, are there even any advantages at all???)
We've also watched The Mandalorian & Grogu (in IMAX!!!), so that was a pretty nice breather between the chaos that is this funny little hobby. Anybody else think it's kind of fucked up that Embo's ship is the shape of his face?
You said it, Stars! Anyway, movie was very pretty, really helped give us a surge of inspiration. All in all, it was a fun adventure -- a lot to appreciate, especially with how they balanced the screen time of each legacy character while giving room for both Din and Grogu to shine as the main characters. Solid film.

THE SOLDIER — “You look like you need something.” Although he's wearing a helmet, you can feel his gaze assessing you from behind the visor. His folded arms make you feel cold. “Well? Get to the point, I don't have all day.”

1: Well, we all enjoyed the rains on Kamino for their familiarity and such, but you would've lived in the torrential downpours given the chance.
1: Except you insisted you hated how hard it was to then dry your under suits, how slippery it would all be, and how the rain hindered your sights piloting, so there had to be something else worth standing in the rain for.

1: Because just Clouds seems weird and Lightening seems more like something Treble would use.

1: I just should've let all of you guess first I suppose, because I honestly can't think of any other name for you Thunder. The rumble of a storm about to break, the sound of a ship powering to life, the way you growl when you spar or rumble when you laugh and it seems to vibrate through you.
1: You're just a consistent strength. My vod'ika that would face any storm with the stubbornness of someone who has already flown worse.
Thunder: Kriff 1 stop that
Thunder: Commander Wolffe looks like he's about to ask me what's wrong and how am I supposed to tell him it's just my vod about to make me cry over a stupid name

Promise Squad is the first of an advanced initiative to foster naturally adapt abilities for in units at an early stage of development. They have completed all basic training and have reached an advanced stage equivalent to ARC and Command levels, as well as successfully undergone invasive testing and trials, thus ensuring they are fully equipped for early deployment.
Each unit has been assigned to a battalion best suited for their abilities and further development, as decided by the Department of Kaminoan Medical and Science. Any grievances or disputes can be brought directly to Nala Se, and all will be held on record in these files.
Commanding officers shall be allowed limited access to project records if they request them. Each unit shall be required to make regular progress reports to Kamino, signed off by a superior officer. Should any unit begin to fall behind or fail then they will be returned immediately to Kamino for reconditioning, and a member of the secondary advanced squads will be deployed in their place. This judgment shall be passed in cooperation with Chief Medical Scientist and the Kaminoan Prime Minister.
Effective immediately - all files pertaining to CC-05-1044 shall be temporarily changed to CT-05-1044. This anonymity is required to ensure no forms of favoritism, and allow for seamless integration at the base command level. The unit proving it is capable of a CC designation is a key component in our presentation to the Republic senate. Anyone not recognizing this change shall be fired, reconditioned, and/or decommissioned for insubordination.

This test is of the utmost importance, and its success is paramount. Each unit has been given an advanced learning track based on early developmental promise, and thus far have proven themselves better than previous models in such areas. Having achieved this at a rate two years faster than previous models, they are a key component of proving our competence and ability to have clones prepared and ready to deploy at the Republics' earliest request.

"It is my opinion as a trainer and ARC that these clones are unfit for battle. While more than adept learners and high scoring fighters, they are only eight decanted years old and of a mental stability of natborn sixteen year old's. They could compromise missions with impulsiveness, or sway other troopers and officers to feel protective. Therefore I can not recommend putting soldiers of this age in the field, no matter the reasoning. In conjunction, I do not think the justification of the Jedi commanders being as young as fourteen is right, and I am willing to go on record as saying so."
