I love how star wars info is all over the place like we have all this deep lore about Shaak Ti, her skills, her padawans, she has comics around her, multiple actors/voice actors, and all of this stuff but we have no idea who her master is.

Meanwhile Voolvif fucking Monn is out here with a Master with an actual name and he got a total of like 54 seconds of screen time and an action figure

with so many new clone wars fans entering the fandom, I’d like to take a moment to encourage everyone to check out the 2003 clone wars microseries, directed by genndy tartakovsky, animation legend of samurai jack fame. it’s no longer canon, but it’s a beautiful work of 2d animation that gave us grievous’ origin story (and arguably many fans’ favorite version of grievous), introduced asajj ventress, showed anakin’s knighting, badass clonetrooper action, and paved the way for the creation of the 2008 clone wars series.

it also features many of the same voice actors that returned for the 2008 series, including James Arnold Taylor (Obi-wan), Corey Burton (Dooku), Tom Kane (Yoda), and TC Carson (Mace). For those who miss a more Hayden-ish sounding Anakin, Mat Lucas also does a fantastic job of voicing Anakin in the 03 series.

additionally, 03 clone wars is possibly even more chaotic, extra, and memeable than 08 clone wars, with gems like “anakin eats live bugs”, the threepio strip tease, and obi-wan being even more Done with the world.
