The dragon's lair is far less intimidating when you've learned a bit about breathing fire yourself. A taste of chaos in a world not designed for either of them. It helps him better understand the idiosyncrasies, and of course, the gaps.
And gaps are okay. Asa's taken his time getting over there - he's fed the cats and left a light on, thrown on an oversized old leather jacket. His drawing hand is braced and bandaged after a trip to the ER, and he certainly looks... well, not tired. Not fully awake either. There's a buzz of energy that sits just under the surface from caffeine and adrenaline. The medic knocks with his left, and leans against the doorframe with a bag thrown over his shoulder to carry the wine.
When the door opens, there is an almost calm smile on his face. A quiet intensity to warm eyes like struck coal. He knows what they've discussed, and there should be no confusion why he's there. Especially with their last meeting. "Darling. I hope I haven't kept you waiting." Yet again, a bit too short to reach Lee's cheek or mouth without some help, but he leans up regardless.
