This is a song that I was going to sing many times. But I never got around to it. I always had an excuse why not to do it. Always thought others had done it enough times. That I couldnāt make it special enough. One of my thoughts that hit me on a dark scary night in the ICUā¦wasā¦ āI havenāt sung enough yet.ā I burst into tears with that thought. The fact that my lungs were in good shape and strong and helped me on the road to recovery. I had aspirated during a surgical procedureā¦ Was put on a ventilator for 20 hours. And they werenāt sure which way it was going to go. I donāt know when Iāll sing again. But I know that singing probably helped save my life. And I wanna sing more. I look forward to the day where I can sing the song with a full voice. I know with the current Covid situation itāll be a long time before we do it live butā¦ I see another closet singer.
