I was shocked and felt an immense sense of sadness that this poor woman felt the need to hide in public bathrooms to feed her baby. I explained to her that I’m also a Mum and offered to sit outside with her to breastfeed, in the hopes of showing a little support. Her response? ‘Thanks, but I would rather do it here. At least I won’t get looks of disgust from strangers.’ All I can say is, shaming mothers for breastfeeding in public is not only unnecessary, it’s cruel. As if breastfeeding isn’t challenging enough, without the judgement and scrutiny that comes along with it? From complete strangers no less? I think we all need to judge less and show a little more acceptance. And if breastfeeding in public does happen to bother you? That’s your opinion and you have a right to it. So I know it’s been a while since I posted anything really interesting here on Instagram. And to be fair I just haven’t been in the mood. This photo was actually done back in March or April. When myself and a few of my friends decided to take advantage of the friendship dragon raid runs that a few awesome guilds in World of Warcraft were doing so that people can get the Ahead of the Curve achievement, and the Uncorrupted Voidwing mount. After a few weeks of waiting I got luck and my name was drawn, and I was able to take my Void Elf into the Ny’alotha raid.
