“E-Excuse me, but, uh...”
How does he keep finding himself asking people with weapons where his brother is!? Does everyone in this place have a sword on their person? Does he need a sword, too? He wasn’t prepared for this.
Well, that doesn’t matter for the time being. He needs to focus on the sword!
... Er. On finding Greg!
“Have... You seen a little boy running around here? He’s about this high,” he says, trying to simulate Greg’s height by bending down, “has a teapot on his head, brown hair, sheep with him? Nobody seems to know where he is.”

Blonde hair. Hair that looked it belonged on a chocobo. These are just some of the characteristics used to describe Cloud Strife’s hair. Cloud may not have been the tallest guy out there, but because of that defining hair, it was pretty hard not to see him, even in a large crowd. And that hair was just what Barret was able to see. It had to be him, and Barret was about to find out if he was right.
“Well, if it ain’t Cloud! Didn’t think I’d run into someone I knew this fast. Never woulda thought I’d be so happy to see ya!”

Without a doubt, Riku’s favourite place to hang out were the beaches of Solias. Even on the most troubling days, a trip to the beach where the sound of the waves crashing against the shore were enough to put him at ease. It was also the place where he’d often hang out with Kairi. In fact, they had their own particular spot they would always go to, a downed tree they would usually sit on and end up talking for hours. Rarely did he see anyone else in the spot, so it was always a little odd to see someone else there.
And this time when Riku arrived at his usual spot, there was someone else there. Because a lot of people typically didn’t come to this part of the island, he felt inclined to go and talk to the guy. From what he could see, the man wasn’t the tallest of people, however, his blonde, spiky hair seemed to help him a little bit in the height department. After looking analyzing the other male for a few seconds, he slowly waked up beside the blonde and looked out to the red sun setting over the water.
“Nice place, isn’t it? Sunsets don’t get any better than this.”

The clock strikes midnight, but the papers strewn across Vincent's desk imply that tonight's going to be a long one. In fact, he's expecting a food delivery to power him through the night. He takes care to time the call accordingly, ensuring that the pizza will be delivered at approximately the top of the hour.
He pauses in his work, lowering his pen only because the doorbell to his apartment has gone off. Slowly pushing the current document aside, Vincent stretches his arms over his head and cracks his neck once before wandering over to the door. He turns the latch wearily before pushing the door open.
Suddenly, food is significantly less important compared to the blond man standing in the doorway holding the flat box of pizza.
“Aren’t you -- I thought you’d joined the military, Cloud.”

Hands frantically patted her chest, shoulders, and neck. Ragged from searching, Serah turned to look down at the ground around her, wondering if her necklace and fallen down below her instead. While it certainly was a bit heavier than the average accessory, she couldn’t imagine how in the world it could have unclasped by itself and fallen. Blue hues eyed the gutter beside her, horrorstruck -- had it fallen? Or, what if...someone had stolen it--? Her anxiety was, thankfully, remedied by a peculiar blond, who gestured at the item he had locked in between his fingertips.
“Thank you,” she said, breathing a long sigh of relief. Serah began to reach out towards the trinket. Again, she honestly didn’t know how it come off in the first place, but she was certainly indebted to the one who had managed to find it and return to her in the nick of time. “I don’t know what I'd do if I hadn't found it.” This pendant was, of course, something she dearly treasured -- despite the circumstances, of course.
