bbc ghosts headcanons
because i have a bunch of these i have on a google doc i havent shared yet each last headcanon contains death spoilers for those who hasnt finished the show

Allison
Mike bought her headphones once, says it might help her with all the "noise" She doesnt use them frequently as shes learned to deal with all the houses antics, but it is used when she gets stressed out too much.
Likes to paint in her free time with mostly landscapes, but improved with portraits over time. Tries sketch to draw the ghosts a bit more simpler.
After decades of being ghosts, memories tend to get a bit blurry of course. Some faces are forgotten over time, something that upsets alot of them. Allison through research, would find old photos of their loved ones (or atleast close friends) she found this would cheer them up alot.
Tried to braid her hair once for fun, couldnt get the hang of it. Mike tried to help, and he was actually incredibly skilled at it
Pat
Canonically a dog lover, but feels like he’d be an animal lover in general. Finds insects fascinating, knows a couple of insect fun facts he shares with captain.
Watches fun kids movies with kitty (maybe ones he used to watch with his kids)
Arrow in his throat often makes him cough up blood, and can ache like hell.
Kitty
Often touches robins fur coat (based off the fact she missing touching and holding things when she was alive)
A kpop song came on the radio once, she didnt understand it at all but she really liked ones with cute vibes. Frequently asks allison to find similar upbeat songs so she can make dances to them (most of the time she drags pat along)
Loves those star glow in the dark stickers
Kitty is probably the one who helps humphrey the most with his misplaced head
Before discovering she died of a spider bite, she assumed the bite on her hand and the pain of it was just another one of her bruises. Headcanon shes slightly clumsy and would have cuts and etc when playing/walking outside. Maybe headaches from her illness.
Thomas
Zones out quite a lot when sitting near windows and looking at the view. “I cant concentrate on my art with all this noise!” no buddy you just can’t concentrate /lh
Quite easily influenced? If thats the right phrase. Dont get me wrong, im not saying hes dumb in a way that he easily changes his mind, im saying he has a tendency to copy people and their habits. Saying “wazzock” because “pat says it”, accidentally saying robins and marys incorrect grammar “Me speaks well”/”and how you dies” (does accidentally copying kylie minogues lyrics count?). With this I think he picks up specific habits of other people. Often fixing his outfit and adjusting it from seeing Julian constantly fixing his suit, Standing up straight when he sees the captains posture, maybe kittys mannerisms every now and then.
Bullet wound aches quite often. His hand which he used to cover the spot when he was dying is forever bloodstained, so he usually hides his hands behind his back or so with his frequent hand covering.
Captain (SPOILERS FOR THE LAST 3)
Teaches Kitty how to twirl and spin his baton (even if everytime she holds it a few seconds later it returns to his hand)
Challenged robin to a race (lost)
Cant tell me he wouldn’t watch those 10 minute rhythmic workout videos
Sharp pains in chest occur often, due to his cause of death. Heart attack pain spreads from your chest to your arms, id say he squeezes his baton alot when pain in his arm is strong.
Allison once said out loud “James, could i talk to you about something?” out loud, shocking captain on how on earth she- nevermind she’s on the phone.
Tries to fix the war medals on his uniform, upset when it just goes back to the way it was.
Mary
Finds origami pretty after allison showed her a few patterns. "too bad you dont have any paper on you" (looks at thomas) She made an airplane and a heart (a bit messy since she found she had to do it quickly before it eventually dissappeared)
Fear of wasps. (based off of ten questions in TBHA)
Often chats with Lady B about the gossip and stories theyve heard on the talk shows they watch (based off of in TBHA)
Her burns hurt badly on days the pain is more stronger, those days she stays still sitting outside hoping the cool wind will help.
Julian
Claims he wouldve made a great podcast
Makes robin say tongue twisters, giving him a good laugh. Though 5 minutes later it somehow turns into him helping robin pronounce the words correctly. Small celebration when he does.
Similar to captain, sharp pains in chest occur often, due to his heart attack. But his symptoms differ slightly with more lightheadedness, with him sitting down most of the time.
Robin
Allison probably lets him do the daily wordle on her phone
I see him doing Stargazing with kitty & Ant watching with Mary
He hangs around the telescope allison got him alot, a space book filled with constellations and information on a table next to it. He claims most of the constellations are wrong though. (that parts canon from the button house archive books TwT)
Ive always seen robin as the most emotionally intelligent of the bunch, he’s been around for so long and seen alot of people come and go both alive and dead. He’s one of the first to approach any of the ghosts when he notices somethings off, or in his head are reminders on how to deal with anyone having a tough time. (this one is based off a cool fic i read with how robin helps the ghosts with their struggles when someones death day comes ^^)
Thunderstorms/lightning etc can be difficult, sometimes he’s found affecting nearby lights when he doesnt mean to and can be dangerous if he attracts the electricity from the storm. Sometimes the storms can scare him good though, staying somewhere with his ears covered.
Fanny
Sleepwalks due to events from her death, but hc she is also a frequent sleepwalker in general.
Her pets are her fondest memory. Rare times she soften up is when the others ask about stories of her many pets.
Spinal Cord Damage from her death. Neck injury can give her a pain when she moves or tilt her head too much/far. Blunt force trauma may have also possibly given her internal bleeding, giving her a shortness of breath.
Humphrey (no spoilers in any of these ones ! ^^)
With his head being stuck in one place alot, he atleast appreciates being close to windows when he is. Birdwatching became a hobby due to being unable to do anything else. Often suprises others when he identified a bird just from its sound.
Very cautious of anything displayed above ground in the house, tries to warm allison of anything dangerous that might fall. “Dont wanna end up like me, yea?”
Occasional French lessons from robin.
Fan of audiobooks. Easy to listen to wherever (when allison leaves any device on for him to listen to) since its a bit difficult to get someone to move his head back to the spot where he can read. Also out of kindness, says it works great so allison doesn’t have to constantly turn the page.
