Once I I sat in a room full of people that I hated but you weren’t so bad. Never once spoken a word to each other and I wanted to say a million things. But I never did. I don’t recall how it happened but I saw you in a place where there was loud music and a lot of people but then I found you. Zero words spoken somehow turned into a million and here I am now trying to find my last word to say to you. I stay up listening to the songs you played for me on your guitar even though I didn’t know the words then, I hummed along like I’ve heard the song a million and two times. Now it’s 3am knowing you’re sound asleep and I play those songs over and over. Wishing I could go back to where I didn’t know the words because every time I hear the rhythm I remember you. Here I am crying on the floor wanting to go back to the time where I sat in a room full of people I hated and I wanted to say a million things to you because you weren’t so bad. But now all I can say is goodbye.
