So I am finally catching up with Criminal Minds. And either I have been watching too much of this show over the past few days or the writers got lazy or something cause I figured this out the unsubs back story so fast in 15x08 

Also what is up with the voice overs not being done by one of the team? has that been done before? I don’t like it.

15x08, ‘Family Tree’

It’s the penultimate episode before we say goodbye forever. The end is near. I’m curious to see what’s happening with JJ and Emily, I really don’t want the team to split up. Spoilers below. 

The unsub is narrating 

He imagined it 

This unsub is so creepy 

Emily Prentiss as the Director of the FBI and she’s going to be the first Female Director! 

Aww JJ, Garcia and Reid all eating ice cream together 

JJ might be leaving 

Garcia can’t keep a secret 

Really Rossi?

The unsub is saying the opening quote, I do not like that 

He imagined it again 

This season has been pretty gruesome

JJ and Matt are working together

According to the bts stuff I saw I believe that this is the last ever profile scene 

Garcia has spilled the secret 

He’s imagining this again 

He’s been putting the body parts up in the tree 

Rossi was shot? please let this be the unsub’s imagination 

Rossi wasn’t shot, he killed the unsub 

JJ is going to be Unit Chief? 

I loved thet Matt and Rossi conversation 

Lynch is back 

Of course Lynch would say something about her face 

Lynch is now saying the bookend quote? Why must it be the unsubs?!

Well that’s not good 

Well that was an okay episode, it was better than last weeks or sure. I really liked the unsub narrating during the whole episode it felt like we were going into his mind like the BAU does. I really liked all the team moments we got like with JJ, Reid and Garcia at the start and with Rossi and Matt at the end. That conversation was good as Rossi admitted that he still has PTSD from when Lynch attacked him and I think after that conversation Rossi is considering fully retiring from the FBI. I don’t know how I feel about these huge new changes for Emily and JJ, I really don’t want the team to be splitting up at the end of the series especially since they keep adding the whole found family trope with the BAU and them all calling themselves family throughout the series and it would feel so wrong it just spilt them all up after all of that. But anyways Lynch is back and he has a new victim. I had a feeling he would be making an appearance near the end of the episode when I saw he was on the cast list. The series finale is now upon us and we’ll have to say goodbye forever to this show. I’m looking forward to seeing what happens in the series finale and I'm hoping the team sticks together.
