Tw: suicide read my thoughts about s3 ep15 under the cut

S3 ep15 morgan is very skeptical of this case at the start and idk if this is my own mental illness speaking but.... i feel like he's skeptical because he very much more than the others has seen suicide as an option before. I know you'll be like um what about JJ but JJ has seen the devastation that suicide leaves in its wake and has never considered that as a result. But Morgan saw his dad die, had to take on so much responsibility for his family at such a young age, suffered in silence for SO long after carl buford molested him. He has likely felt suicidal before and the feeling like that's your best option never leaves

Because when i heard the specifics of this case like i'd rather die than suffer the loss of my child. I would kms so it did not register as a shock that people would do that so maybe i'm projecting but yeah past suicidal feelings is why i think morgan reacted the way he did. I think he knows that he'd rather die than live with loss like that again and so he thinks other people would too and his skeptism protects him from his own feeling in the back of his mind that it would be his solution
