Elio is a very intelligent well educated person. His mother was a therapist and his father was a professor. Elio was always surrounded by books and having thoughtful and complex conversations. Elio had a unique experience growing up, he had more freedom than his peers, he did not have a bedtime and was allowed to do as he wished as long as his school work was done. Elio was very close to his parents but especially close with his father, a thoughtful and understanding man who encouraged Elio to live his life purposefully and never take his time on earth for granted.

Verses
- 1983. 17 years old. Crema Italy. Elio lives with his parents at the Villa.
- 1987. 21 years old. Elio is at college studying music and other subjects he eventually dropped to concentrate on music (flexible setting)
- 1992. 26 years old. Living in his apartment in Paris. Elio is a professional pianist. Enjoys drinking wine, smoking, performing in concerts, hopping from cafe to cafe across Paris and riding his bike.
- 1998. 32 years old. Elio is living in Paris, he runs a classical piano masterclass and is a world-renowned teacher.
- 2003. 37 years old. Elio has moved back to the villa in Italy to take care of his unwell mother and care for his young stepbrother Ollie. He runs lessons from the Villa and people travel from all over the world to stay and learn from Elio.
- 2023. 57 years old. Elio owns the Villa and both of his parents have passed, Ollie has moved out but visits regularly. Elio is rattling around in the large house, he still runs piano courses and hosts his students. He enjoys travelling.
