These are the ONLY 3 moments I am sad never made the final movie. I hoped SO MUCH that the glass scene would be in the movie as that little moment was one I adored from the novel. That tiny moment meant so much and I am going to swoon endlessly if it’s in the deleted scenes. In a way, the “worship” scene wasn’t needed, I would have just loved to see Timmy’s performance of it though. That said, SO MANY of the longer exposition-ish scenes have seemingly been cut along with the narrator element and I am so thrilled about it. You can see where Luca has added his flair and used cinematic tools to show the emotion behind the cut words and I am in awe. Such beauty. And thank god there is no mention in the screenplay of the ‘negative scene’ because I don’t want an explanation of that. To me, it’s “dreammaking and strange remembrance” in cinematic form and I never want to know the intention behind it because it’s so magical to me as it is, with my own interpretation ❤️
