Hi there! I'm a new langblr who's learning French and German (but I will be tackling Japanese as the next language I'm going to learn) I wanted to say hello and ask you if you have any tips to get noticed in the community? I wanna make friends and share my experiences with learning languages with everyone!
HI. HONESTLY, SO SO AWESOME. SO AWESOME. YOU. ARE. SO. AWESOME.
Here’s a list of Japanese Learning Resources that may help with your quest to study Japanese! There’s also a link included in that post that basically gives you access to free textbooks.
Re: getting noticed in the community
TL:DR post content, tag accordingly and reach out. But specifically:
guide to starting a studyblr by @elkstudies
beginner’s guide to starting a studyblr by @studyign
studyblr on a budget by @sundayscholar (prev: studygene, working link provided by @cmpsbls)
+ MANDATORY READING: THIS FROM @hayley-studies (see also: my reply to my russian anon)
In the end, its what you want to be noticed for. If you want to buy into the aesthetics and find that bullet journalling etc helps you study then go for it. If you want to post mostly text advice/ responses, then start with writing content that you find helpful. Heck, some of the most helpful studyblrs that I look up to are the ones who post 99% text content.
You don’t necessarily have to buy into half the things/ techniques/ supplies that are on this community. In the end, you’ll carve out a section of the community who motivate you, who’ll make you laugh on your hardest days and with whom you can share your journey with.
Celebrate your own journey.
Cause in the end, this is just another social media website :)
