The urge to stop everything that he was doing and stick his tongue out at her was almost overpowering. That was not true, he had been there early, but he couldn’t help his most natural streak fully die out, it felt too much like admitting that he had lost something. Somehow Jung-hoo didn’t consider what could have been gained if he had acted a bit more maturely. There was not time for that now. “ Are you ready or do you want us to stand here and chit chat a bit more ?” A familiar voice tsked in his ear, and he couldn’t help but roll his eyes, knowing almost the exact things that she’d tell him, yet again.

Crazy that she’s turning into someone she had sworn never to be - after seeing her father and her band mate transform into crazed lunatics due to amber liquid’s touch, she can’t step foot in such a skin. But.. she pauses in the preoccupation of her thoughts when she feels the searing gaze of eyes on her; damn, is it a fan able to see through her disguise? For a child of two agents and a famous idol, she’s never been one for good costumes. She turns around, head sweeping until she finally locks eyes with the other. An eyebrow raises but she stands and makes her way over. “Was there something interesting on my face or do you always just look at people with a longing expression on your face?”

🤔 for Inwoo

Poor, poor Yook Dongshik, the dopey ex-subordinate and ex-boyfriend of the Predator Killer himself. 

The first man to have openly provoked and taunted Inwoo without mercy, it’d piqued his curiosity and started a whirlwind romance in which Inwoo hotly pursued the clueless Dongshik (who went along with his boss’s schemes), working hard to groom the man’s more unhinged personality while fully believing that he too was a serial killer...until Inwoo found his lost diary on Dongshik, and the love swiftly turned into murderous malice. 

We claim poor Yook Dongshik is pitiful. Overly-trusting, kind and somewhat naive, he is entirely a foil to the crafty, distrustful Inwoo. Nobody could fathom or understand how this man remained alive to this day- 

Yet, he is the only person who’d outsmarted Inwoo not once but thrice, and walked away alive. 

The first time, he’d drugged Inwoo in an attempt to kill him. The second, he’d stabbed himself and then ran Inwoo through a window to save himself. The last time, he’d locked Inwoo in an escape room. 

One can only infer that Inwoo had let matters go, considering how intelligent and meticulous Inwoo really was...but perhaps he’d enjoyed being constantly ensnared by the only man he’d devoted himself to, riding the high of this ridiculous cat-and-mouse Dongshik seems to keep setting up for him.

the  sun  peaks  through  the  last  relentless  clouds  after  a  storm,  the  streets  still  slick  with  rain.  ji  pd  sits  outside  a  coffee  shop  just  a  few  blocks  from  the  radio  station,  cell  phone  pressed  to  her  ear,  a  cup  of  coffee  in  one  hand,  the  other  typing  away  at  her  laptop.  she  hardly  notices  the  other  so  close  to  her.  she  hangs  up  the  conference  call,  feeling  a  renewed  vigor  as  she  slips  the  phone  into  her  pocket  &  sips  at  the  hot  coffee.  a  voice  draws  her  from  her  thoughts,  almost  startled  at  the  closeness  of  it.  her  tongue  burns  from  the  searing  heat  of  the  coffee  &  she  huffs  at  her  scorched  tongue  for  a  moment  before  responding.  ❛ oh, me? ❜  she  blinks,  eyeing  the  supposed  not-stranger,  surprise  coloring  her  features.  ❛ ah, i’m sorry.. do i know you? ❜
