( off anon; because i'm not afraid to get hate. ) there are cliques in the roleplaying community, yes. there’s cliques EVERYWHERE. that’s just life. in many fandoms i've been in, popular roleplayers like to stick to their own groups. also, please don't call yourself one of the most popular blogs. that's a huge turn off to most, since you just seem to be stroking your own ego. i'm not being rude, i'm just stating my opinion. thank you for reading and have fun in the community, everyone!

13. comforting kiss. 

          Daryl wasn’t a very emotional person, at least not where anyone would see anyway, but there was something about seeing Carl so upset tugged at the sensitive parts of his heart. So he moved over to the other, shifting so he could pull him carefully into a tight hug. Wanting to make him feel better without words, not like he could think of anything to say anyway. A beat passes as he still hold onto him before he leans in and pressed an almost awkward kiss to the top of his head.

          instead of going OUT to read comics, like they normally do, enid and carl decided to actually stay in alexandria this time. they’ve been curled up together in carl’s room for the past couple hours. the silence between them isn’t at all UNCOMFORTABLE - if anything, it’s quite nice. there will be the occasional sound, of course…the rustle of the comics as they turn pages, or the soft laugh of one of them as they read something amusing. and it’s the fact that they don’t HAVE to talk that reminds enid why she likes hanging out with carl so much. 

          she doesn’t really know how it happened. carl had shifted himself so he could lay down, and somehow he ended up with his head in enid’s lap. which, honestly? she’s more than okay with. she simply smiles down at him fondly and goes back to her reading. after a while, however, she hears his breathing S L O W and, upon looking up, notices that carl’s comic is sliding out of his hand. her eyes flicker to his features, and she almost laughs when she realizes that he’s fast asleep. she tilts her head just a little, examining the peaceful look on his features. 

          it’s so rare to see him looking so at ease. and honestly, he looks absolutely ADORABLE, asleep so soundly, and so, instead of trying to wake him, she gently puts aside his comic and, lowering hers momentarily, she reaches out a hand to delicately brush her fingers through his hair. she’s unsure of whether she imagines it or not, but she’s sure that he leans into the touch, even though he’s clearly dead to the world ( not literally, thank god ). 

          “sleep well, grimes.”

          and she goes back to reading like nothing’s happened, like she hasn’t got carl ‘tough guy’ grimes fast asleep on her. she’ll probably find some way to tease him about it later, but for now, she just sits there, content.

Character in general: honestly i shouldn’t start talking about carl bc i will never stop. he is a gorgeous precious child and i love him so much it hurts. my s M OL SO N.How they play them: one of my fave carls on tumblr tbh. i love how you portray him. like im so in love w/ur version of carl its ridiculous. and i lowkey stalk all ur threads bc. amazing.The Mun: idk if we’ve ever really talked but we should bc ur awesome :3
