Ingrid • The backdrop for this card panel I coloured with the Ranger Distress Oxide stamp pads in the colours lucky clover, peacock feathers and cracked pistachio using the Ranger mini blending tools and then sprinkling some silver splatters with Pelikan Plaka paint. The flowers are from the Altenew BEAUTIFUL DAY Clear Stamp Set for layering flowers of which I only used the outline blossom and leaf, stamped them in black ink and then coloured them with my Schmincke watercolours. For the purple flower I used Daniel Smith Amethyst Genuine (203) purple – a wonderful, rich colour with beautiful shimmering particles. For the centres I used a Sakura Gelly Roll and the stamen are dotted with a Derwent Graphik pen. I had cut out the name “Ingrid” 3 times with my Silhouette Cameo, stacked them with Ranger Matte Medium and also coloured it with the Schmincke magenta and pink. Then it was time for assembling the fuzzy cut items with glue and foam tape for the central flower. Of course, no card is finished without a few matching sequins. Most of these are from a Buttons Galore mix called Rock Princess. As far as I know, I used all of Ingrid’s favourite colours in this card and I think they go together perfectly. Just like me – she loves flowers.
