So letzter Tag von #madebymekal! Mir fehlt leider noch ein Ärmel, aber den mache ich morgen 🙃 Ich fand es sowieso unglaublich schwer mich für ein Projekt aus der #madebyme zu entscheiden und ich werde definitiv in Zukunft noch mehr schöne Projekte machen. Außerdem ist die Wolle von @rico_design einfach unglaublich weich 😍 . . . . . . . . . . . So last day of #madebymekal! Happy Birthday • Quick Card This card was made very quickly for someone who needed a card in the next hour. I used the beautiful paper collection “Blush” from My Mind’s Eye which came out around the same time last year and practically flew off the shelves as it was based on the colour/s of the year by @pantone from the previous year. I absolutely adore this collection! For the sentiment I used a stamp from the Altenew “Halftone Stars” set and stamped it with Viva Décor Paper-Soft-Color in dark blue/indigo and clear embossed it with powder from Rayher on a piece of card that I had coloured pink with Ranger Distress Oxide Ink “Tattered Rose” which matches the pink of the paper exactly! I then cut it out with decorative scissors and fixed it on the card with foam tape along with one of the triangles that came with the patterned paper. I mounted the panel which I had also cut out with the decorative scissors on a crème card base I had coloured with the indigo Paper-Soft-Colour around the edges. The matching sequins I fixed on the card with Ranger Matte Medium are from Pretty Pink Posh “Rose Gold Sequins” and Little Things from Lucy’s Cards “Guilded Peach”. 2018 Calendar and Background • The background is a mixture of 940 Brilliant Red Violet (PV 55), 910 Brilliant Blue Violet (PV 3) and a little 369 Crinacridone Magenta (PR 202) from the Schmincke Horadam Aquarell Watercolour range which I sprinkled with water based gold size (adhesive for gold leaf - Anlegemilch) and embossed the sprinkles with WOW! Rose Gold Embossing Powder via SimonSaysStamp. I don’t think the photo does the colours and their vibrancy justice but if you know Schmincke watercolours, you will know how brilliant they are. For “2018” I – once again – painted my Fabriano watercolour paper with Viva Décor Rose-Gold Maya Gold paint a couple of times and used it to cut out my design. Which I then glued to the watercolour background with Ranger Multi Medium Matte. It may not look it but it’s stuck tightly to the background! The months were written with a MozArt Brush Pen from a set of 20 and the days are written with Pilot FriXion ball pen – as I am prone to make mistakes!
