Announcing yet another foray into event planning, may I introduce...
WIPstober!
This is a fun thing @etherealaberrance and I are putting together for this October, and it's a very simple event! In October, you can do anything EXCEPT start a new project!
Do it on tumblr or ao3, or if you're really brave do it on Instagram... we all have projects sitting around and watching forlornly as we are dragged into a huddle of new born plot bunnies, or trip into an idea for a new knitted shawl... let's give those old WIPs some love!

Don’t start a new project - scrap your ideas, weave them into a current project, or take notes for the end of the month.
All forms of works allowed including original and fan works, writing, drawing, and other types of creation.
Try to post at least one addition to a WIP for the collection! If you can’t do more, that is a-okay, but if you can? Gold star!
Now, a bit of an addendum for rule 1 - you can finish a WIP that's never made it out of your drafts, as long as you genuinely aren't starting anything new!
I know I have fics that have never seen the light of day that would LOVE this event, and you probably do too! That old half-embroidered pocket in the closet, that sketch you never colored but keep saying you will, that baby blanket for the newborn that's three now; all of these projects are eligible!
You can do a mass update on November first, or you can do mini progress updates every day, or you can update as you finish things - ao3 updates, photo updates for craft projects, ten second music clips if that's what you like to do, even just the last line of your writing session!
Just! Work! On! A! Work! Already! In! Progress!
