Portal 2 Dating Sim Idea:
((Here’s an idea for a Portal 2 dating sim. I’ve seen some other people come up with an idea for a dating sim as well but... well... for this one let’s just say that I’m trying to remain as faithful and consistent to the characters as possible as they are presented in the canon lore of the franchise:
Chell is impossible to romance. She hates you. She hates everyone. She will never speak to you. She will never love you. She will break all of your stuff, including your heart and then leave you forever.
You need to have an IQ stat of over 200 and show a passion for science in order to legitimately romance GLaDOS. You can persuade her into going on a couple of dates with you, but only for a brief amount of time before she eventually gets bored with you and dumps you for all of the flaws that you have and for not having a high enough IQ.
GLaDOS wants somebody who is intellectually stimulating and who she can discuss advanced science with on her level. If you can’t provide her with that, then she will get bored of you and inevitably choose science over you.
Wheatley will always friendzone you. No matter how attached he gets to you, no matter how much he clings onto you, no matter how big of a crush he has on you, he will always only ever consider it a friendship. You can be his friend. You can be his best friend. You can even be his best friend forever (forever), but you cannot romance him simply due to the fact that he is entirely oblivious to romantic feelings in relation to himself and has only ever longed for a friendship in the first place due to his past experience of not having friends.
Romance is a concept that is far beyond what Wheatley expects out his relationships and he really isn’t thinking about it. Simply having a single friend at all feels like a massive privilege to him and he is happy to have it.

"Do you remember when we were friends?"
"Ah, friendship. Friendly times. We had a lot of good times, do you remember? Back in the old days."
"Look at the pair of us, sneaking around. Like a couple of ne'er-do-wells. Dashing rogues! The both of us. Like Robin Hood or something! Role playing. Love it. Absolutely love it."
"Act natural--all right? Just--just play it cool, we've done nothing wrong. Couple of people, going about their business. Just a couple of dudes, doing their thing."
By far the easiest character to romance so long as you picked a female in the character creator menu. He’s desperate for a lady. He has not seen one in years. And he’s not picky at all. He doesn’t care If you’ve got a bit of brain damage. If you’ve been running around. If you’ve been sweating. The only requirement here is that you’re a woman.
---
"QUICK: WHAT'S THE SITUATION? Oh, hey, hi pretty lady. My name's Rick. So, you out having a little adventure?"
"Hey, a countdown clock! Man, that is trouble. Situation's looking pretty ugly. For such a beautiful woman. If you don't mind me saying."
"I don't want to scare you, but, I'm an Adventure Sphere. Designed for danger. So, why don't you go ahead and have yourself a little lady break, and I'll just take it from here."
"Going for it yourself, huh? All right, angel. I'll do what I can to cover you. Doesn't bother me. I gotta say, the view's mighty nice from right here..." [Looking down Chell’s shirt]
"I'll tell ya, it's times like this I wish I had a waist so I could wear all my black belts. Yeah, I'm a black belt. In pretty much everything. Karate. Larate. Jiu Jitsu. Kick punching. Belt making. Taekwondo... Bedroom."
"Man, that clock is moving fast. And you are beautiful. Always time to compliment a pretty lady. All right, back to work. Let's do this."
"All right, your funeral. Your beautiful-lady-corpse open casket funeral."
"Yeah! Nice! You messed with the wrong woman! Keep it up, baby! You're creamin' him!"
Space is too childlike to be romanced, but you can sure friendship him just by indulging in his obsession with space. Although he might just pay more attention to space rather than to you.
All you need to do to win over Fact is to listen to all of his “facts”, act all snobby and sophisticated as a person of high class and give him plenty of validation. Just shower him with praise and convince him that you’re a person of culture who is above everyone with who he deems to be inferior. Act as pretentious as possible in order to win him over. Snobbery loves the company of other likeminded snobs.

"The Fact Sphere is the most intelligent sphere."
"The Fact Sphere is the most handsome sphere."
"The Fact Sphere is incredibly handsome."
"The Fact Sphere is always right."
"The Fact Sphere is a good person, whose insights are relevant."
"The Fact Sphere is a good sphere, with many friends."
"You could stand to lose a few pounds."
"The Adventure Sphere is a blowhard and a coward."
"The Space Sphere will never go to space."
"You will never go into space."
"Fact: Space does not exist."
"Spheres that insist on going into space are inferior to spheres that don't."
"Whoever wins this battle is clearly superior, and will earn the allegiance of the Fact Sphere."

You can’t romance Cave unless you keep purchasing items from the Aperture Science Gift Shop. The only way to earn his love is to buy it.
"Chariots Chariots. According to Greg, theoretically, there's an Earth out there made entirely of money. Plus, since there's a infinite number of Earths, that means there's an infinite number of money planets. So I've done the math, and I figure the odds of finding this thing are one hundred percent. [off mic] Not now Greg! [on mic] That doesn't mean I want you to stop testing, but do keep an eye out for the money-verse. And let me be clear, I'm talking about U.S. currency. You find a peso-verse, you just keep walking."
You can’t romance Doug unless you find or purchase the mysterious companion cube box mask and equip it over your face.
Atlas and P body are actual children who are still developing and learning and therefore unromancible. However, they can assist in helping you out with quests and winning over other characters.Like little henchmen who’s services you pay for at the Aperture Science Gift Shop.

GLaDOS: “You don't know pride. You don't know fear. You don't know anything. You'll be perfect.”
GLaDOS: "Come on. You were raised better than that."
GLaDOS: "If I stop watching, I'm sure you'll get bored of this."
GLaDOS: "It appears you're developing human traits. The worst human traits."
GLaDOS: "You're going to hurt yourself doing that and then I will be ECSTATIC."
GLaDOS: "A somersault is just falling over in style. Congratulations on being clumsy."
This is the #1 easiest character to romance. It will remain forever loyal to you and it will never threaten to stab you. You can always rely on the Companion Cube to be by your side through thick and thin. It is stalwart and dependable and always willing to give you the shirt off it’s back, a shoulder to cry on or a step up. Even if you do happen to toss it into a fiery inferno, It won’t hold it against you and will always love you.

Just some of the most well known characters for now, but I might just expand this later on to include some more characters down the line.
Note: I’m not actually literally making a dating sim. These are just some ideas I had for what a dating sim would be like if it were faithful to how the Portal characters actually are in canon.))
