There was so many things they introduced in The Flipside that could have become their own storylines and prolonged the game that they just didn't explore for some reason beyond making it a joke, like the history teacher Jecka dates being kind of racist, Emily being Jecka's new "stepmother", Jeffrey saying he's starting to hate women, the zero tolerance anti-bullying policy, abusing Benadryl, Jecka and Ari kissing, the possibility Jecka could have had to choose to go live with her mother, etc.
