SMALL RANT! I have mixed feelings about feetside 😿

Like on one hand, the entire game was built on homophobia and hatred of just a lesbian ship??? And a good one at that??? It's not that toxic. I honestly think it's the healthiest ship in the game.

Another thing that makes feetside so trash is like... all the bad endings where Jecka quite literally does not get a single good one. And obviously the emphasis on feet for 2/5 of the endings.

But on the other hand!!! ✋ HEAR ME OUT GUYS. If the creator didn't make all the endings unnecessarily terrible because of the intentions he did, the game actually makes perfect sense. It's ABOUT how Jecka was trying to escape all the weirdness of Nicole's decisions, all those endings. And by doing that, she sometimes digs herself into deeper holes. If you listen to the intro, it makes perfect sense with what the game's endings are.

That being said, Nicole was uncharacteristically cruel to Jecka. That's one thing I don't think can be salvaged about feetside. It's dumb as fuck. Nicole can be erratic, Nicole can be mean, Nicole is a sociopath. But she cares about Jecka more than anypony else in her life, and throwing that away for revenge is NOT AT ALL in character for her. She did it to Megan. She did it to Ari. (And by that, I mean just purposefully fucking up their lives.) But if you actually know Nicole and Jecka, know their history, relationship, and endings together, Nicole wouldn't do that. That's my biggest gripe with feetside.

So yeah Jeckole my beloved we will ignore feetside

Class of '09: The Flip side and Arcane season two genuinely made me fear sequels to the point I'm not even nervous to see if Walpurgisnacht Rising is going to make any character die or suffer, I'm just concerned about it's quality because I absolutely adore Madoka Magica.

Like, I really liked Class of '09, everyone was glazing the hell out of it like a year ago if I'm not wrong. And then feetside came out and everyone started hating on it. (I will admit the fan base ALWAYS sucked).

And Arcane, which I watched because I heard it was well written, had good animation and a popular wlw ship. Then season two came out.

I love Puella Magi Madoka Magica (although I still need to watch the additional content) more than I have any other franchise and would be heartbroken if a bad sequel ruined it.
