Dallas Wings point guard Jacy Sheldon is making her way back to Ohio State — but this time, she’s joining the coaching staff.
Drafted No. 5 overall in the 2024 WNBA draft, Sheldon averaged 5.4 points and 2.5 assists in her rookie season and earned a starting spot with the Wings midway through the year. Now, she’s returning to her alma mater as the Director of Player Development for Ohio State’s women’s basketball program.
One of the most accomplished players in program history, Sheldon is one of only three Buckeyes to surpass 1,900 points, 400 rebounds, 350 assists, 200 steals, and 150 three-pointers.

Per: At the hands of your players?
Mikel: An accident.
Per: That's how they are gonna make it look.
Per: Do you know that jellyfish have survived 650 million years without brains?
Mikel: [glances at his players] Really? A ray of hope for this team, then.
Per: Your players are screaming and shouting outside, don't you think you should do something?
Mikel: You're right, I should.
Mikel: [closes the window]
