All I wanted to do was wash my hair and I got ambushed by not one.. but both children 😂 Ah well. For the very first time in months Elijah isn't terrified for the bath tub so I won't complain. #Cobathing #NaturalParenting

I grew up doing both with my sister and parents (my dad would wear swim trunks) and I do the same with my son he’s still young though (10 months) so things may change in the future but I see nothing wrong with it in most situations.
That’s great!⭐️
I bathed with my son until he got to curious and kept trying to like my vagina. It made me uncomfortable so we stopped. He still showers with his dad. I sleep topless and he is regularly in my bed still at 4 years old. I change clothes in front of him. Bathing was just not comfortable anymore.
That makes sense! I do think it’s smart to have a healthy relationship with your body and be comfortable with nudity around the house. Who wants to wear lots of clothes all the time?? ⚡️
I didn't co sleep often because i worked and my parents said i co slept for years, I was afraid of encouraging a habit since I wanted to teach independence while getting some form of sleep for working for her when i had my job. I also didn't want to crush her etc. ive never bathed often (maybe 3 times) with her but that's just because i've always washed when she sleeps lol it's just easier not to worry about my shampoos getting on her or holding etc too much multi tasking to do it together
I agree on the multi tasking thing! I still enjoy co bathing with my daughter though, but mostly just for fun/to get her clean. I save my washing for after the kids are in bed cause that’s my alone time lol⚡️
Just something I’d like some other moms opinion on. How do y’all feel about stuff like co sleeping and co bathing. I only have girls and grew up with three sisters so it seems totally natural to me. Would u do it? Till what age?
I have 2 brothers and 2 sisters but didn’t know my brothers much, so I grew up pretty close with my sisters, and I only have a daughter so I’m in the same boat as you, BUT… I’m all for it. I do both.⭐️
A look at the last month;
Charley went to Dairy Fest with my mom, stepdad, grandma, and three of my sisters. (Harper and I spent the day with her daddy and his parents). I hate that I couldn’t go because he looked like he had SO much fun, but Harper was just too little.
Harper’s two week appointment! (She was actually three weeks because I already had an appointment for Charley that day so we just scheduled them together). She had grown half an inch and gained a whole pound! (So as far as I know, she’s 8.15 lbs).
Co-bathing for the first time with Harper. I absolutely ADORE co-bathing, I still do it with Charley. Harper only had one bath in the baby bath before we got to get in the big tub because I was waiting until I stopped bleeding. This was also a milk bath because she had some baby acne that got really bad because she spent the day outside. Her face, chest, shoulders, and even her scalp (!!) were covered in red bumps and blotches. (about 3 or so ounces of breast milk.. literally down the drain.. but she needed it!)
They love bubble baths almost as much as they love each other.
Dad's are important.
