Cobrakill - Serpent's Kiss

German metal act Cobrakill released their incredible second album, 'Serpents Kiss', last Friday. This album is a testament to the band's growth.

Formed in early 2020 and channelling the sound, attitude and ferocity of iconic artists like Mötley Crüe, Judas Priest, WASP, Lizzy Borden and RATT, Cobrakill swiftly garnered attention.

The band band say, “With drummer Toby Ventura taking the reins in production, mixing and recording, we had unparalleled freedom to sculpt our sound. 'Serpent's Kiss' undoubtedly marks a significant leap forward for us.”

With an ambitious goal to reignite the flames of heavy metal's glory years and conquer the world, their rise to prominence has been marked by electrifying live performances of meticulously crafted songs, with fans often describing the experience as magical and akin to witnessing the young Mötley Crüe commanding the stage.

Playful yet riveting, Cobrakill blend metal, rock, sleaze and glam to make music that is not just redolent of the ‘80s, but also reminds listeners that rock n’ roll is very much alive and still kicking in 2024. The physical format of their 2022 debut ‘Cobratör' sold out in weeks. That's no mean feat for a new band, but no surprise because the songs were so good.
