''Diamond Cockade Brooch'' - Queen Mary of Teck

At first, I thought it to be the "Diamond Cockade Stomacher/Brooch", but at the 1937 coronation, the Queen Mother wore the centre, while Queen Mary wore the mystery diamond cockade brooch.

What happened to this brooch? Still with the main line? Or was it dismantled?

No. 1. — Toilette de visites pour jeune femme en cachemire drap gris nuée. Corsage froncé entrant à la taille sous une ceinture ronde en velours vert buis. Un autre ruban part du dessous de bras et vient se terminer sur la poitrine par un grand nœud. Boucle de strass. Bretelles sur les épaules en drap gris garni d'un dépassant de loutre. Col avec revers doublés de satin blanc. Jabot de dentelle.

Manches presque plates, tout unies. Chapeau genre capeline en feutre vert garni sur le devant de siz plumes noires disposées en panaches et sur le côté de cocardes en ruban de satin noir, fixées par des boucle de strass.

No. 1. — Visiting ensemble for a young woman in cloud gray cashmere cloth. Gathered bodice entering at the waist under a round belt in boxwood green velvet. Another ribbon starts from under the arm and ends on the chest with a large bow. Rhinestone buckle. Straps on the shoulders in gray cloth trimmed with an otter overhang. Collar with lapels lined with white satin. Lace jabot.

Almost flat sleeves, all plain. Wide-brimmed hat in green felt trimmed on the front with six black feathers arranged in plumes and on the side with black satin ribbon cockades, fastened with rhinestone buckles.

Matériaux: 6m,50 de cachemire drap. 8 mètres de doublure en 1 mètre.
