Coconteppi [Anchor of Ichor]
there were monsters before there was anything
Hi, you're probably going to ignore my message or ignore it, but it's worth a try.
Could you draw a Lich x Cocontepi? Please.
It's a ship I created myself, or so it seems, since I haven't seen anything previously discussed about this ship.
It doesn't seem to exist.
But hey, I'd be very happy if you'd like to draw them. I love this ship very much.
first time drawing the lich and this was very fun!!! hope you're having a good day/night : - ]
So in writing up my thoughts on the latest F+C episode I came up with a few more ideas that I feel like weren't pertinent to the episode specifically, but I still want to write them out, maybe get a discussion going, idk. Just a few tidbits of stuff that I thought up while typing.
So I have a bit of a hypothesis. Before there was everything, there was nothing. Before there was nothing, there were monsters. The primordial monsters, an endless sea of yellow beasts with gnashing teeth and claws that flay. The beasts that waited patiently for the beginning to wreak havoc upon reality. We only know of three from this era: The Lich, the Last Scholar of Golb, whom seeks the extinction of all life. Coconteppi, the Source of Magic, the one who can bring the Second Era of Destruction. Orgalorg, the Crusher of Worlds, a sadistic being whom only seeks power and submission from all who dare lie behind the doors the universe opens for him.
These beings are ancient and undoubtedly evil, but I had some questions that just won't go away: Why? Why are they evil? Why are they so varied in form and tactic if they're from the same place? But one came above all else: Why are they all yellow?
Then I remembered a very, very important episode of Adventure Time. One that also has unfinished business in terms of the overarching plot.
'Crossover'.
See where I'm going?
Why is it that at the beginning of everything there was nothing but an endless sea of evil yellow monsters? Where did they come from? Why are they evil?
Why at the end of the episode 'Crossover' did nobody seem to care about the fact that every universe now has 2 Liches? It's not like they totally forgot about it because of the episode 'Whispers', where we see Sweet Pea kill their Lich Hand, and 'Together Again' where we see Jake kill the dead Lich Hand in the Land of the Dead. The Lich Hands are still a prevalent threat in other universes save for Fionna World due to it not being connected to the multiverse.
Of course, that's all under the assumption that they didn't do anything about them. At least, not at first.
Hear me out. What if Prismo, Orbo, Scarab, The Boss, or some other Celestial Being took care of them. Rounded most of them up, at least the ones who would cause trouble, and placed them somewhere outside of everywhere in a time outside of time. They took the yellow Lich Hands and put them in a place where they couldn't hurt anyone, where they could now mutate to whatever they needed to be, either to fight each other or adapt to their new surroundings. That explains their evil nature, because they're all extensions of the Lich. That explains why they're there, as where else would you put them? That explains why they're yellow, because they were originally Farmworld Jake's flesh. It would even explain the more magical parts of the ones we've seen so far; Farmworld Lich seemed to have a twisted and bastardized version of Jake's stretch powers in 'Crossover', and it seems to have followed, at least somewhat in 'Whispers'. What if that lead to Coconteppi being the source of magic? What if that helped Orgalorg become Gunther instead of outright dying in Earth's gravity? What if that explains the more mutagenic properties of Lich possession?
So yeah, I think that they didn't do nothing with them, they rounded the most dangerous ones up (the ones that wouldn't have died eventually or are in habited universes to begin with), and put them somewhere safe. Somewhere they can't hurt anyone, nor could they break out.
However that leads into a new question: how did the 3 we see so far get out? To that, I have two potential answers.
Firstly is GOLB. plain and simple answer. It'd also tie in with the Lich's backstory, as he could've stayed and wanted to hear the teachings of the being who freed him, making him more cold and calculating than his brothers. Not to say Orgalorg isn't intelligent, and we don't know the intellectual prowess of Coconteppi, but Orgalorg seems more passive, he's more of a 'go with the flow' type who uses circumstance to aid him, while the Lich is active evil. The Lich plots and acts upon a plan, Orgalorg takes what he can get, and maybe the Lich got that from GOLB. However, I feel like that'd be a little too simple; a little too clean.
Second is a bit out of left field, and it's a bit of a ride, but again hear me out: Hunson Abadeer. We don't really know where he lies in the pantheon, if at all. It's clear he's important, no doubt since he runs a wholeass plane of existence for god's sake, but there's just something there that doesn't make sense.
So far, it seems like all the Gods/Celestial Beings in Adventure Time are somewhat familiar of one another, from being seen at parties or talking about one another directly. They know each other, at least in a passive sense, and it seems like they tend to hang with others around where they lie in the pantheon's caste system. Prismo invited minor deities to his parties like Death, GGGG, and Party God, but Orbo and The Boss weren't seen. Minor deities like Kheirosiphon are also not present, so it seems to be that the Gods/Celestial Beings tend to hang with others that are around their same caste, or in the case of Jake and the Water Nymphs, invite others with whom they have a friendship with.
Then you get to Hunson and you kinda scratch your head. He's not mentioned by any other Celestial Being, but he runs his own plane of existence like one. Is he a God? He's the effective ruler of Hell, so the Lucifer ties are there, and I don't think it'd be too out of the question, especially if you go to outside sources. He's the narrator of The Adventure Time Encyclopædia, a non-canonical book going into more depth of the lore of Adventure Time. In it, Hunson says that he doesn't remember his own origins, as he has existed since before time and before everything, when 'there were only monsters'.
To me, that implies that he is another Primordial Beast or He is the one who freed the 3 we saw
Wiping his memory could've been part of the punishment for freeing the Primordial Beasts, unable to truly reconcile with what he did. A blank slate, full of a fraction of the evil that he had unleashed upon the world, clouding his mind and ruining every relationship he had. Either that or the chaotic evil eroded his memory to the point where he is now.
That's why they don't mention him, he's under their radar. He's not a part of the pantheon because he was removed from it, like a relative you're told to not talk about.
So yeah, in short, my idea is this:
Someone was tasked with rounding up the Lich Hands from the multiverse after 'Crossover', at least the ones that would've caused a lot of trouble, and because of the Citadel's fall at the hands of the Lich created from Jake's paradox wish, they knew that a new Citadel wouldn't cut it, especially seeing as how there's an infinite amount of them. So what to do? You can't keep them in stasis, so simply put them in a bug jar. Put them somewhere that they can't hurt anyone, somewhere it'd be physically impossible to hurt anyone because it'd be logically impossible for anyone to be there. Somewhere outside of space and outside of time, and that's just what they did. They sat there, changing, mutating to new heinous and horrible forms, but retaining the original spirit of evil found in the Lich Hands. They grew and stretched, became new beings with their own identities and wants, but still within the ideals of death and destruction. Then something happened, or rather someone stepped in. Hunson Abadeer, for whatever reason that we simply cannot fathom at this time, freed at least 3 from their Tartarus. Perhaps he was deceived, much like New Death was, but regardless he let loose Orgalorg, Coconteppi, and The Lich onto the multiverse where they wreaked havoc for ages. In retaliation, the higher Celestial Beings decided that as a fitting punishment for Hunson's actions, he would be forced out of the pantheon of Celestial Beings and Gods and into the Nightosphere, where he must overlook the punishment of those whos sins were great in life, but not to the level of cosmic crime. He was to forever be in the realm of wails and gnashing teeth, and the evil that was imbued upon him corroded his memory, now unable to recall who he was and why he is, trapped in Hell for all time unless directly called upon.
I say it's Hunson because I feel like GOLB would've had a bigger role in the lore, given how it's implied that he destroyed the infrastructure around Prismo's Time Room. He isn't free of being evil, but I feel like he would do more than just let some monsters loose for some localized evil and destruction.
Hi!!, could You draw a lich x cocontepi please, is My favorite Yaoi ship
You do not realize how quickly I stopped everything
Back in early formed universes days, Myriaxanthus used mainly their portals to hunt down other Primordials when they located one of their kind on planets.
Mostly because their whole body being on the planet wouldn't be good for said planet when they're so massive. They'd crush everything underfoot unintentionally!
Xanthus can sense other Primordials and can gauge if the other is stronger than them or weaker. They usually left the "weaker" ones alone-they weren't worth the effort to hunt. The sensing thing is what Liam inherited from them when feeling the bad vibes from the Beasts!
In Bug World AU Myriaxanthus is the reason for Coconteppi's physical body's demise- but since they finally got full finally from this "meal", they left most of the bones and heart- leaving Teppi's consciousness intact still.
