The ice cream melts pretty quickly here, and if you get the coconut ash, don't freak out if you notice streaks of black on your skin several hours later.  That ish gets everywhere. Coconut ash tastes like delicious ambiguously flavored sweetness with a dash of edgyness from the charcoal.  I liked how it didn't really taste like soapy, perfumey lotion coconut, so if you want a strong and mature coconut taste, you will be disappointed.  But just pretend it's supposed to be charcoal flavored, and surprise thyself with how good charcoal tastes. You're welcome. Burnt honey (not pictured) was better than expected - ever so floral, and slightly nutty. I recommend getting this over coconut ash if you don't really care about eating good tasting charcoal.  Regular scoop in a bowl is 4.50. Cash only. p.s. charcoal on its own doesn't taste like anything.  Also since this is NY, don't expect joviality from the employees, or tasting flavors ahead of time.  Joviality should be derived from within yoself.

The sun's out! It's time to stop by Morgensterns for a taste that will blow your tastebuds away. Today I went for my regular scoops of coconut ash and raw milk - balance of flavors - yin and yang. You can never go wrong with this combination! I'm going back for the famous MotherNucker!
