Back in 2009, @asgarrison18 and I had the good fortune of traveling to a wedding in Northern California. One night while on the way there we stopped in San Francisco's Little Italy for dinner. It was a cozy little restaurant with maybe 4 total tables, delicious housemade pasta, delightful music and everything was as fresh as it could be. Over dinner and a glass of wine, absorbing every ounce of the perfectly manicured atmosphere, we naturally discussed the upcoming Peach season and potential Ice Cream combinations. With deep fondness and bubbling enthusiasm we stared into each other's eyes and simultaneously whispered, "peaches and bourbon cooked together..." That's its origin story and Southern Comfort is the name - we've been making it this time of year ever since. Thus this Friday, 7/27 at The @HopIceCream on Merrimon, @TheHopWest and The @HopIceCreamery we are celebrating the Southern Comfort Ice Cream Release (#dairy and #vegan)! . Much Love and Enjoy!
