First (Attempted) Report

Blurry photo is blurry. My dad helped me get my rain gauge all level yesterday - Biscuit did not help. Tried to input my report but the page won't load so womp womp. Emailed them to ask about it. Hoping to be able to report any rain we get from the remnants of Ian if it comes our way.

CoCoRaHS is an acronym for the Community Collaborative Rain, Hail and Snow Network. CoCoRaHS is a unique, non-profit, community-based network of volunteers of all ages and backgrounds working together to measure and map precipitation (rain, hail and snow).

Was starting to doze off so I decided to check the rain gauge early. Walked outside and got DRENCHED. 5 minutes and I was soaked. We got a quarter of an inch in under an hour. 

Needless to say I am no longer about to doze off lol.

CoCoRaHS Mornings

I often take pictures of the gauge in the morning even if there's nothing in it just because it makes me so happy. The frost in the sunrise is so pretty. Its totally dark at 7am now so I miss when it was still glowing along ths horizon.

Finally got to record my first rain total today! It's wild how many more people report after it's rained. We need more zero heros.
