Code Lyoko Hopeater Edition: Laura Gauthier

Laura Gauthier is one of Jérémie’s fellow gifted student, the two sharing their advanced math, programming, and robotics class. She’s also the one considered by her teachers to be the only match for him. After helping them a few times behind the Calculator only to get her memory erased, the group finally introduces her as their third addition, even if the times she goes on Lyoko can be counted on one hand.

Laura is smart, curious, and driven. She knows she’s smart and proud of it. This said, she’s also a very logical individual, and her complete refusal to consider things from an emotional viewpoint often means she butt heads with the rest of the group, effectively serving as their devil’s advocate. While, like Jérémie, she prefers staying in the real world, she has gone onto Lyoko a few times in dire emergencies. Her powers include invisibility and analyzation, and her weapon is technically a third power: powerful electric discharges. Her avatar is reminiscent of the programs in Tron.
