Final Fantasy VII: Code Radiant is my my FFVII Compilation + Remake fanfic on AO3! Here's the summary:
Ruby Liu is a hardcore FF7 fan who also freelances as a programmer. After one fateful night, she is forced to enter the world of her beloved game and finds a new world both familiar yet unfamiliar. Apparently her old fanfics have become Gaia's cancer, brought about by the wrath of an old resident Summon thought lost to time. And to top it all off, she's drawn the ire and intrigue of Sephiroth, who seeks new purpose for the realm lovingly dubbed the Debug Room and even bullies her as a de facto editor in this new story of Gaia.
Check it out if you haven't yet! It's still a WIP and a long read, but I recently hit chapter 49 out of a pending 77 chapters and it's over half a million words so far. I'm on the course to break new records to have the longest FFVII fic on the site. We're finally moving into a new story arc and finally I can touch on the BIG plot coming up. (I swear, there are no filler chapters, the story is just that long lol.)
I am also anticipating writing an "Ultimania" guide for this fanlore because I go DEEP with new worldbuilding. It's quite the complex mess just with what I have so far. I am fully embodying Nomura with this and I have no shame.
Since I've been putting all my efforts into this as of late, my regular blogs have been on hiatus. To my fellow Ace Attorney fans who joined me since the beginning, rest assured, I will be returning to it when I finally finish with this fic, though I also have plans to begin writing an original work, which will have a much less rigorous update schedule.
