heard of it, but never really used it

i used to use it but haven't in a while by choice

i had it on a previous device. then i got a new one and couldn't find it again

i downloaded it from the app store and still miraculously have it and use it 👍

i've carried this apk between multiple devices + you'll have to kill me for it

I don't know if this is useful to anyone or not, but imma post it anyway.

If you need a fanfic storing and reading app that doesn't require internet usage, try Codex Reader. It's old so it doesn't exist on the app store anymore, but here's the APK link for it.

It's a super simple straightforward app. It searches directly into Fanfictions.Net, FanfictionPress and Archive of Our Own's (AO3) database. You can search the works by either author's name or the name of the work itself.

You can organize the works however you like, you don't need to re-download the works whenever they're updated because you can just press the button directly from your library, and you can also export whatever fanfics you like as an e-book in case that fanfic ever gets deleted and you don't wanna lose it (I did this to at least 5 or 6 fanfics now because they've been deleted and the only place that I still had access to them was Codex Reader). Even after you exit a fanfiction the app keeps track of what chapter you were on and where exactly on the page you stopped reading, and it also has a dark mode. So if you want a nice, easy to navigate fanfiction app, give it a try.

if you ever want to read fanfiction on your phone I would totally recommend codex reader it's free, easy to figure out, AND it has stuff from ff.net ao3 and fictionpress BUT WAIT the best part is that it will let you keep a library of fanfics saved to your phone. no wifi? no problem. reading more then one fanfic at once? it will save your place in the chapter so you can jump between multiple fanfics. just want to get the update without having to redownload the whole thing? click the more button when selecting a fic and choose update! honestly it's so great guys I love it please get it
