maybe I'm just being a little delulu with sleep deprivation- But like- I'm having difficulty confirming if Knights mom is actually dead or not? Maybe I'm just overthinking it-
I already read his book 2 a while a go and this still bugs me...
Cause I know that Knights mom sold him off, and then the Quiritatio lied about him and his mom dying to Highwaymen to avoid this coming to light- But then why would his mother need to do this in the first place? Was she trying to run away or needed the money for something else? Did she get away requiring them to lie about her death-? Or was she killed off with the rest of the Bantock house? Because if that's the case (heaven knows how they covered up that slaughter- Quiet or not people are gonna notice when someone is dead and theres a pattern with it... Unless they did it over a long period of time- still suspicious how just about everyone died after that incident... To me at least-)
They could've just excused her and Knights vanishment with the rest of them. I'm still confused on how exactly Dewi got away-
But if her death wasn't excused with the others, does that imply that she escaped before they could get her and now she's just hiding somewhere?? Did they think they got her only to find out they didn't- Then needing that previous lie?
I feel like I'm overthinking this way too much- It just bugs me qwq
