My 2016 Goal

This is going to be a chunk of text, hence the read more.

So I’ve spent far too long living life with the thought process that there are all these cool things out there to do or achieve, but I won’t be able to do that. I’ve decided it’s time to change that mentality. This year, my goal is to make it the best yet. Those things that I tell myself I can’t do or I will never be able to have, well I’m going to make it happen. I’m done telling myself that people won’t get it or won’t like it. I’m done coming up with excuses for why I can’t do this or can’t do that. It’s time to tell myself I am good enough. I can achieve these things that I want to. I will make it happen.

Love

I fall in love a thousand times a day

With a pretty face

Or an awesome smile

The smallest things draw my attention

A lilting laugh

Or a witty remark

But it's all superficial love

Surface level love

It leaves me wanting more

Real love that is about personality and trust

Then those little things can follow

Until then

I'll just continue to fall in love a thousand times a day

And fall out of love just as quick

My friend told me today that she thinks I'm in love because I seem to be in a happier mood lately since admitting I am crushing on someone. I don't know how I feel about that, but I am happier.
