It’s been a while since I posted a productivity update. I never seem to remember to post. Some days I only get one thing done others all the things. Motivation has been severely lacking lately and I’m not even half way through the semester.

I ended up getting a decent grade back on my proposal assignment. I found out that the TA didn’t read the instructions closely because I was marked down by doing something that was outlined in the instructions. Probably just oversight but still frustrating.

02.15.2018 [34/100] Feeling extremely frustrated with the organization and lack of feedback in my research design class. I spend most of my day at work purging and organizing inventory and reviewing medical records. I was so brain dead when I got home I've done one small assignment. I dissected a peer-reviewed article. I did get a small nap so I will call it a good day.

Today I had a case of the Mondays. I did manage to get four discussion posts done, log internship hours for autopsy tech training, and locate an article for my dissected article assignment due at the end of this week.

Again, worked two of my jobs, read more of this book, updated my notes, made a schedule for one of my jobs, and wrote an introductory post for one of my classes. I also cleaned my kitchen and did a load of laundry. Clearly my productivity is life focused rather than academic focused. Hoping to get into an academic groove because I have 6 assignments due in two days.

As my coursework is heavily digital I don’t really have a lot of printed or handwritten notes to display as proof of productivity. Not only does that make this challenge difficult to display but also personally I feel less productive. However, the past two days I have gone through three lectures, two chapters, and written an introductory post for my evolution class while working during the day. I’d say that passes as productive.

Hello everyone!

*warning* Obligatory introductory post.

I am a Master’s student who considers herself to be on the “wrong side” of 25. I am studying anthropology with a forensics and skeletal biology focus in the United States.

I have been on Tumblr for a few years now and this whole new year new me thing has made me want to try something new to keep me motivated in my studies.

My sense of humor is dry so please don’t take it the wrong way.

As an “older” studyblr I would be glad to share any study tips or suggestions as I have been a student for a while forever.

My life goal is to be a retired old lady who goes back to community college to take art class. Career goals are to work in a forensic-related field.

Most importantly my aesthetic is a black desk and messy bujo with terrible lighting. ENJOY!
