I started spending a lot of time in cafes when I was traveling. I had the time so when I was wondering around I would intentionally or accidentally try and find cafes that I could chill in, do some writing and of course drink some divine coffee. I love that feeling of walking into a particular place and getting instantly engulfed by the environment. The atmosphere. The music. The lighting. The VIBE. And of course the, interactions. It all adds to the experience. So When I started to make coffee myself I was so aware and conscious of how I can add value to other people's experiences when they would come in, while having fun and also enjoying the atmosphere as much as is possible myself at the current time. Since being in Melbourne and exploring different cafes around the city it's undeniably unfortunate that some people take making coffee way too seriously. I love a good cup of coffee but when you walk into a cafe and the environment is stale, the vibe is low and the staff smell like death, it's just shit and I'll most likely never go back. No matter what you are going through, where you are in the world, or what you see ahead of you, make a promise to yourself, to never settle for less than you deserve Never give up on something because it’s out of reach on your first attempt, get a ladder, or find a way to get closer to what it is you want, there will be a way. Or you’ll go through mistakes to find a path that’ll lead you to something you may not have even known was exactly what you were looking for...

There’s more to all this I’ve seen a lot, and I’ve been through a lot I’ve traveled, and I’ve been still There’s more outside of the walls that you’ve built And I get it, I have walls too But I’ve allowed room for a lot of windows If I don’t look out, I won’t learn I won’t learn from the mistakes I have made I wouldn’t have learnt that I can love someone for who they are  I wouldn’t have jumped out of a plane in Africa to skydive over Table Mountain It’s funny to think the walls I’ve built surround me when I’m in my comfort zone, but when I’m free in this world, the walls disappear There’s more to all this

Mornings start out in the shower then quickly to the kitchen for coffee. Then in front of a mirror where I'll spend 30-45 minutes trying to cover my face up and the very noticeable dark circles that surround my eyes simply because I'm exhausted, and the fact that this isn't how I want to be throwing my life away.
