Love these two <3.
IRL Drawing of Grillby, I love him ✨
I don't really like Invisigal, don't get me wrong I don't HATE her, she has a lot of good moments but they really get over shadowed by her really horrible choices.
I'm not going to get into the whole sexual harassment thing right now ill do it later.
What I want to talk about is her decision to go after the pulse. Now in episode 2 in the doughnut shop her behavior made sense, there were two guys with guns on her and she didn't trust Robert as her dispatcher yet, so her messing up and failing the mission I can forgive.
What I CAN'T forgive is her going after the pulse BY HERSELF after being told not to, and Chase dying because of it. She is a GROWN 27 YEAR OLD WOMAN who should know better than to do something so stupid, and trying to defend her behavior using her impulsiveness and ADHD is a horrible excuse, while also insulting her by infantilizing her character.
She is an adult who should know better and who has also done this multiple times, so I cannot bring myself to feel bad for her for the result of her own actions.
A lot of people in the Dispatch fandom either treat her like shes evil incarnate or act as if she can do no wrong, which both are incorrect in my opinion.
Again I don't hate her, shes not evil, she has good moments, but her actions got someone killed when this all could have been avoided had she not gone after the pulse on her own.
Do you think that if Grace got into film in the PHM Universe he could have been their equivalent of Bill Nye?
I was looking at those old grainy photos of men just handing you particles/atoms and I firmly believe that is something he would do if given the chance.
just imagine classrooms of children all chanting “GRACE GRACE GRACE” in the same cult-y way we used to chant “BILL BILL BILL”
Ngl I’d be down for Invisigal x Robert, but ONLY if she got therapy first, woman is NOT ready for a relationship right now especially since the man’s mental health is in hell and he needs the damn therapy too.
Though my yuri comes first, Invisigal x Blonde Blazer my beloved. <3
Some sprite designs for the fallen humans! (Excluding Frisk, Chara, and Clover, I didn't make them)
also a small redesign of Bête/Betty Noire from Glitchtale.
Sprites are fun :D
Alright, now into my issues with the HR nightmare that is Invisigal.
[I had to take medication that makes me loopy for an allergy because I accidentally ate something I shouldn't have, so forgive me if this is incoherent]
And no this isn't about the sex jokes, I couldn't care less about them, it's the explicit sexual harassment toward Robert.
From watching him strip down without his knowledge or consent, continuously making sexual innuendos about him, constantly sneaking up to him in a vulnerable position [without clothes: Blazers office in ep 2, the bathroom in ep 4], Telling him straight to his face that she had a wet dream about him in the bathroom, and asking him if he masturbates in the mechsuit.
Now to be fair, she isn't the only one that either comes onto him or makes sex jokes about him, the Z-Team has made plenty of inappropriate jokes about him and Blond Blazer has also come onto him in ways she shouldn't have [ex: The billboard in ep 1, Her office in ep 2].
The difference is she does it All. The. Time.
Telling him that shes wet from seeing him almost naked without his consent, forcing him to pick a doughnut so that she would do her job and then immediately making sex innuendos toward him, cornering him in the bathroom and causing him to hurt himself when he was pulling GLASS SHARDS out of his chest to tell him she had a wet dream about him and then imply that she wanted to have sex with him [and I'm pretty sure was the MENS bathroom so she shouldn't have be there at all], and at the bar telling the bouncer that he's "the biggest perv in LA" despite every potential inappropriate interaction they've had has been HER FAULT.
She also hurts him on several occasions, Punching him in the face and making his nose bleed for calling her out on her behavior at the doughnut shop that caused her to fail the mission, the bathroom scene with the glass, punching him for thanking them for being nice???
If their genders were swapped she either would have been fired or even arrested for her behavior.
[Edit: In case it wasn't clear, It's still sexual harassment no matter what gender, I was just trying to use what our society has set up as an example]
Shes extremely immature for a woman who's supposed to be 27
I don't hate her, I just really don't like the way she acts like a child pretending to be an adult by making a sex joke every 5 seconds and then throwing a temper tantrum every time shes told something she doesn't like.
I liked the scene inside the bar and the food they got afterward even when she made sex jokes cause it didn't feel like she was trying to force her way into his pants, I wish we got more of that then the character that I would slap a restraining order on in the first 5 seconds of meeting her.
