The Legends fucked up the timeline so much that now Len and Mick are good, upstanding gentlemen and their daughter is the one plotting evil schemes.

Just home from an amazing couple of days in Telford where I did both Supergirl panels and one of the Guest lounges with Jeremy Jordan…because I really couldn’t resist. Writing out some highlights I learned before I forget them.

Jeremy would like to see Winn in alternate Earths - Flash style - and his ideas were either the now infamous following in father’s footsteps Toyboy/Boytoy version, or a bodybuilder, ‘compensating for days’

He did want to get into TV (though he misses theatre and hopes to find a balance between screen and stage) and he got Supergirl because that year he had decided to go down to LA for Pilot season to see if anything worked out

He was originally turned down for the part of Winn by CBS, after both the audition and chemistry reading with Melissa. So Greg Berlanti called him back about a week before production began as they hadn’t found any other Winn and basically said ‘We loved you but CBS said no. So we’re offering you a guest star role to film the pilot, after which they will fall in love with you too and your contract will be extended to season regular.’ Which is what happened.

He both doesn’t know what a fidget spinner is and is easily distracted by them

He was originally in the readings for Bandstand but couldn’t do it for Supergirl reasons. He said it was hard going to see it the other week, because it was something he’d had to let pass.

He listens to podcasts while working out because it’s easier to forget what he’s doing when he’s concentrating on something else

He sang the opening of the Circle of Life at the panel on Saturday. I don’t have that recorded but I did get the snippet he sang of Once and For All in the panel today, Sunday. While he looked very embarrassed.

The gag reel this year should be amazing, ‘if they do it justice’. Because maybe JJ at least knows that when we say gag reel we mean we want to see the reels of footage of them screwing around on set.

His advice for aspiring actors continues to be: take chances and find what works for you, to make you stand out 

I’m sure I will remember more but for now, pretty excited about some of the things learned here.

Am I going to have to confess to all the questions I asked Went and Dom now?

Okay, I was the incredibly nervous girl who asked about the dynamic between them and Ray, and whether they thought Len had sort of planned for Ray to look after Mick. (And when I say nervous, I mean, I kept forgetting how to speak and yeah, it was awkward). 

I also asked if Mick, Len, Michael and Lincoln ended up in jail together, would they all get out alive? 

And what Dom thought of season two basically having the team stop trusting Mick and turning him into something of a joke. 

I was 6′ 1 of purple hair, and pure anxiety all weekend.
