Leonard Snart is a TA for Cisco’s engineering lab that Barry trails along to a lot more often than he should. For whatever reason, Snart does not turf Barry out despite his not being registered for that class.
Barry survives a lightning strike in the summer, taking months to recover enough to go back to college. Cisco mentions that Snart might have been trying to subtly ask about Barry in the meantime but Barry’s got more important things to focus on. He’s struggling to adapt to how his life is now and desperately attempting to catchup with his workload.
When he finds someone has hacked his computer, he’s baffled more than angry because they appear to be helping him. Constructive notes on his essay drafts, reminders in his calendar; little things that make his life easier and make him feel less alone. Supported. There’s a large part of him that doesn’t want to give that up even though he knows it’s not a good thing overall and it will have to be dealt with at some point...
