Coldflash Valentine’s Weekend
Day 3 - Prompt 12 - Alternate Universe/Earth
Cold smirked as ice travelled down to his arms to his fingertips, clutching a dead flower in his hands.
“Barry.” He purred. “You’re surely not going to keep me waiting, now are you?”
The scarred man grinned slowly, showing his teeth. “Not too much longer, Lenny, I’m almost done.”
The walls were bloodstained and damaged by the speedster’s powers - a crudely designed heart with ‘B & L’ in the middle of it taking up the whole space.
“For me?” Len cupped a scarred cheek with his ice-cold hand.
“For you, my dear Cold.” Barry replied, tugging him closer. “From your speedster.”
“Just Cold?”
“You don’t need the Citizen part anymore, Lenny.” Barry smiled softly in the way he always did when they were alone. “You don’t have to pretend to care about a town that doesn’t give a shit about you. We can leave, Lenny, we can go anywhere.”
“I can’t.” Len shook his head. “Not until I know Mick and Lisa are safe.”
“Until then.” Barry agreed, pressing a gentle kiss to Len’s head. “Happy Valentine’s.”
