With these delectable cookies, you can indulge in the rich and comforting flavors of hot chocolate. They're chock-full of chocolate chips, marshmallows, and a hint of peppermint, making them the ideal treat for cold days and holiday gatherings.
Ingredients: 1 cup 2 sticks unsalted butter, softened. 1 cup granulated sugar. 2 large eggs. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract. 2 cups all-purpose flour. 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder. 1 teaspoon baking soda. 1/2 teaspoon salt. 1 and 1/2 cups semisweet chocolate chips. 1 cup mini marshmallows. 1/2 cup crushed candy canes or peppermint candies.
Instructions: Warm your oven up to 350F 175C and put parchment paper on a baking sheet. Put the softened butter and granulated sugar in a large bowl and mix them together until they are light and fluffy. One at a time, add the eggs and beat well after each one. Add the vanilla extract and mix well. Mix the cocoa powder, baking soda, salt, and flour together in a different bowl using a whisk. Slowly add the dry ingredients to the wet ones and mix them together until they are well mixed. There are mini marshmallows, semisweet chocolate chips, and crushed candy canes that you need to mix in. Using a cookie scoop or spoon, drop dough onto the baking sheet in tablespoon-sized balls. After the oven is hot, bake the cookies for 10 to 12 minutes, or until the edges are set. After taking the cookies out of the oven, let them cool for a few minutes on the baking sheet before moving them to a wire rack to cool all the way down. Warm up a cup of hot chocolate or milk and eat these tasty Hot Chocolate Cookies.
