@colinjessup requested a starter at Fox Tower involving animals
Rumours were a constant on campus, who was seeing who and who was doing what and Teddy didn’t pay attention to them, not unless they involved Bacon. Since the day he brought him back to the tower, Teddy had been paranoid that the dog would be taken from him, he’d been the biggest source of comfort for Teddy over the past couple of months and he wasn’t going to lose him. So, when Teddy heard a rumour that campus security was circling the tower and the Vixen’s dorms, whether it be to look for a fugitive dog or just in general, he wasn’t going to take a chance of Bacon being found. As soon as he heard, Teddy started asking around, figuring out if security was really there for the reason he feared and making plans to keep Bacon hidden. He could hide him in his room, in others’ rooms, but it would only last so long - he figures the last place security will check is the roof.
“Now, Bacon, the roof is dangerous,” Teddy said as he clipped Bacon’s leash to his collar, “but they’re gonna have to pry you out of my cold, dead, hands so you’ve gotta behave or you might like...go to the pound or something. And they don’t have chicken at the pound.” Bacon whined as if he understood and obediently followed Teddy out of their room and up to the roof, wagging his tail and trotting along excitedly. Teddy opened the door to the roof expecting it to be empty and his heart lurched when he saw another figure already up there, ready to turn around and usher Bacon back inside until he recognised the person.
“Fancy seeing you here,” Teddy called, wandering over to Colin and keeping a tight hold on Bacon’s leash, not trusting him to not go and investigate the edge of the roof. “My dog is a fugitive.”
